I absolutely love the APL35. What a great piece of gear. I was on the fence about the whole idea of a portable fridge and was firmly planted in the thought that coolers were plenty. That was until I used one that a friend of mine owns, and it completely changed my perspective.
I did my research and landed on this model as the dimensions were perfect to fit under the tonneau cover on my truck on top of a slider. I was a little concerned that the interior space may not have been enough, however after using it for several months, I can tell you it's perfect for our needs. It holds all the food we would need it too and having the option for freezers space has been clutch as well. I have found that if I'm going on a day or two adventure, I have no need for additional coolers to come along.
The other very impressive part of this unit is the magnetic battery. I am able to get 10-12 hours of power to the fridge depending on some factors (e.g. temp setting, outside temp), however on a recent trip, I was able to use that battery to power my CPAP machine in my tent for 3 nights and just connected the fridge to a larger battery that I have. I'm considering purchasing a second battery just because they are so handy and powerful!
If you are on the fence about buying a fridge, pull the trigger, you will not be disappointed. If you are in the market, look at Iceco units. In my opinion they are the best in the industry right now and for the price, they are unbeatable. The APL35 is the only unit I have experience with, but given the sturdy build quality, thoughtful design and efficient, quiet operation of it, I cannot imagine any of their other units won't work just as well. I'm kind of obsessed to be honest.
I would buy another one with no hesitation and am seriously considering having a second.
We live in Colorado and use your cooler almost every weekend during our camping season. We've owned it now for almost 3 years and have brought it along while camping in anything from a rooftop camper, to an enclosed converted cargo trailer, to sleeping in the back of the truck under the stars. It's easily transportable, perfectly sized for what we need, and thoughtfully designed. We were never more impressed with it than when we camped in south central Colorado last fall -- little did we know, there was a regular bear problem in that particular campground. While we were away from camp, the resident bear tried its best to break into the cooler. We came back to see that its efforts were thwarted because the only thing it managed to do was totally destroy the insulated cover. Even though the bear also dented, scratched, and tossed the actual cooler around a bit, we plugged it right back in and it works perfectly fine! We're thoroughly impressed that it has continued to work so well. We've been meaning to write this review for quite awhile, and are hoping that this convinces others how durable this cooler really is. Thank you for creating such a well-built product. The only bummer was that the insulated cover wasn't bullet-proof (well, bear-proof)!
I received a power station with a bad case so they sent a replacement with in a week. They are very good at pleasing their customers! I would recommend them not only for their product line but for their great customer service.
Excellent fridge/freezer!! I am a long distance truck driver and bring food from home for the time I am on the road. My Go21 endured the punishment of being in a semi truck and running 24/7 for 5 days a week and is still working after nearly four years. I have no doubt this new one will be the same. So far it has performed flawlessly. I especially like the upgraded 12V plug. It’s much tighter than the original on the Go21. It doesn’t work itself loose from the lighter socket. I would highly recommend this cooler. Worth every cent.
The Magnetic Power Bank kept our 37QT APL35-Black Ultralight Dual Zone Aluminum Freezer | ICECO charged overnight for 2 nights in the Jeep at Moore Expo 2025. We recharged the power bank for the third night. We were very impressed and highly recommend.
This thing is perfect l, the smaller size with the same functions as the larger models is great, we love it.

Powerful, versatile. I use them as backups for if my big battery gets drained and I can't recharge it. I think these are an excellent value for what you get.
Amazing how fast the cooler gets cold! I would recommend getting the battery pack if you can't plug it in during transit. We traveled three hours and ice cream is difficult to keep completely frozen. This should do the trick.
Support was great in helping identify the issue and supplying the correct part to fix my noise problem. Ordered part, picked up and replaced it fairly easily. Working great
What can I say. After five years of constant use my fridge is still going strong. Had a small issue with the latch but ice o customer service is on top of it and replaced it without question and quickly to boot. Would but it again for sure!!!!!!
