79.2QT VL75ProD 12V Heavy Duty Fridge Freezer| ICECO

I ordered my ICECO VL75 while they were on sale early July in anticipation of many extended camping trips coming up. I had no idea that it would immediately save me from losing expensive frozen foods when my home's fancy refrigerator's freezer went out the day my ICECO arrived. My entire freezer contents fit in the two compartments and the VL75 held zero degrees for several days until I could get my fridge repaired. I can't help but give 5 stars for now! #ICECOGEAR

The fridge looks and works great. Used a few times now and no issues with it trying to keep up in the heat. Haven’t put the insulated cover on yet and honestly don’t see a need to right now. Customer service has been spot on. Huge thank you to them for setting me up right.

Worked fantastic on a camping/overland trip for 10 days for a family of 4. Hard wired the 12v connection fused and directly to the battery for a guarantee good connection.

We use our refrigerator/freezer on our marina dock and with the protective cover it the refrigerator portion 34 degrees and the freezer stays at 25 degrees even in direct sunlight all day.

Great cooler. Works great with my solar. It's a lot bigger than I expected. So much room for ice cold beverages.

Have had the 75 pro for about 2 years. The system malfunctions when the temp gets above 100 degrees, 12 volt and on any type o bouncy interstate roads. Have talked to ICECO everything that would be defective IS NOT covered. Circuit board, compressor sensor, magnetic relay. There is NO access to clean the fan or compressor coils. Air flow is way to low to protect the electric circuit board. Works great for about 4 hours and then all the temps go crazy cold gets HOT refrigerator gets COLD. Swap sides and does the same thing. Try full freezer no go, try full refrig. no go. When on full 120 volt shore power with additional fan on side of unit temps will work great in camp. On the road unit SUCKS! ICECO knows about the problem did all their fixes don't work and no help any more. The people that got replacement units were lucky. Unit failed with 5 years but the components that failed are ONLY WARRANTY for 1 (ONE) year. Won't provide replacement parts..must buy a NEW unit! Failed on US on three separate long 14 to 30 day trips. First time lost all frozen and refrig. food Second lost refrigerator food. This time had an ice chest to put food in and extra Ice packs. Put freezer food in the new frozen side and took out refrigerator food and put in ice chest with ice packs Have emailed ICECO about the problem no solution or replacement parts available. Everything comes from CHINA as a unit!!!

I am pleasantly surprised at how little energy/battery this Cooler uses. I’ve always owned the Dometic brand and I’ve never been able to freeze as well as this cooler. For the first time I’m able to freeze ice cream! We use it off the 12V and it functions just as good as if it’s plugged into a 110. I would highly recommend this product.

Easy checkout, fast shipping, well packaged and so far love the VL 75D fridge! However once taken out of the box I noticed the only items besides the fridge was the manual , DC cord and AC cord. The extra corners and handle that they claim to be included was no where to be found! Not a huge deal but if you claim something is included in the sale it should probably be there! Called customer service, they were polite and said they’d get the parts out to me however it’s been like a month and nothing!

so far the experience as been going good. fridge works as advertised. 1 month in so far.

We purchased the cooler with battery pack, solar panel and insulator. We go to a West Texas hunting camp. Product kept everything at 40 degrees F in 90 degree weather direct sun on the back of a truck for over 6 hours. Battery pack lasted far beyond what we expected. Amazing product.

I love the dual zone capability of fridge/freezer or fridge/fridge settings. As well as the dual action of the doors, the door can be opened from either side. This is so convenient for my camper built, since I can open it from inside or outside. I am very happy with my purchase of this model and manufacture.

First unit I got did not work. Customer service was great. They figured it out that it was a bad unit and before I could return the old one the new one was here

I’m an OTR truck driver and I stay out at least 3 weeks at a time so buying this ICECO VL75 ProD was risky but I’ve had it now for a few months and it works beautifully!!

I like this portable fridge/freezer a lot. We have a Sprinter van and it is the right size to fit and also big enough to not have to run to the grocery every 2 days. I like the directional lids and that they come completely off if needed. The baskets make it easy to find things on the bottom. Everything stays cold and no problems running from solar. No complaints. Thanks ICECO!

I purchased this fridge several years ago and it is still performing like a champ. It resides in the back of my Chevy Colorado on camping trips and is a beast. It has performed flawlessly and has endured the rough rides and kept on cooling. I love the ability to go from all fridge to all freezer or anything in between and especially like the dual opening lids. Thanks ICECO for a great product.

The freezer that I have is way better than the other ones on the market. This is not a flimsy plastic cooler. I like how the doors open on each side of the unit. It stays the right temperature and it kept my food perfect when I was camping out in the woods. It is durable and easy to use. Highly recommend. Customer service is outstanding. They have helped me get the right Fidel for what I need

I have been looking at the Iceco Refrigerator-Freezers now for 2 years. After recommendations from several trusted sources, I ordered the 79 quart model.
The day of delivery the unit was warm in it's protective shipping box. I plugged it in and within an hour it was close to 0°F on the freezer side, and 37°F on the refrigerator side.
I can also monitor, and set temperature 🌡 on both sides in close range.
All claims of quick cooling are true.

I bought the cooler in anticipation of a 3-week road trip next May. I plugged it into my back up battery and it ran for 24 hours bringing the battery down to 56% which will be fine considering we will be sleeping in hotels and air bnb's. For now I am using in my former shed (now cigar lounge) for beer and making ice cubes in the silicon form that came with the cooler. Very happy with the Ice Cubes by the way. Having ice changes everything about the cigar shed and now I have a fridge that will last the weekend for my homemade house boat. I will send some pictures of the cooler in action if you give me an email.

Have been using our fridge for the past few years with no issues. Recently it stopped cooling. Reached out to iceco to find out about troubleshooting the problem so I could fix it. We tried a few things unsuccessfully, then were offered a replacement fridge. Would definitely buy another fridge from iceco when I’m ready for one. They are great having 3 separate zones controlled independently. Plus the outstanding customer service puts this company at the top. Thanks for all the help.

Bought the VL75ProD. Didn’t read the description fully. Thought this had an internal battery but doesn’t. Because of that I gave it 4 stars for the price. But then I guess with the weight to ship this thing, you’re paying for it so it’s not really free shipping. They shipped it fast and did received it fast also. After buying the battery, tested it with one compartment at 38 degrees and the other 14 degrees. That’s with plugging the unit in until fully cooled temps then plugging battery into it and unplugging the cord. At ten and half hours, battery was down 23% which is plenty of time for what I need it for. This unit is well made and on heavy side. When full you do need two people to lift. For the price they could’ve put wheels on it for better move ability.

Just finished up my first week long trip & this was a game changer!! I purchased 2 battery packs also & the whole system worked flawlessly!!!

I usually don't leave reviews. However, I know how helpful they can be in deciding a purchase. My wife and I purchased this fridge for our family's road trips. When we received the package, the box was damaged which appeared to leave a dent in our fridge. We reached out to support who were more than helpful! Even though the damage was a result of the delivery driver, Iceco made sure it was purely cosmetic as they wouldve replaced the whole fridge if it were. We confirmed it was purely cosmetic and Iceco offered us a gift for the inconvenience. Support was swift and efficient. We have also used the fridge now for weeks. Its been amazing. It stays cold enough even for a few hours without power. Not only is it great for road trips but its also wonderful as a spare meat freezer in our garage! My only regret is not purchasing sooner.
