This could be the perfect fridge for Van camping. I got it because it was efficient, well insulated, reliable, quiet, and Built Tough and I really like the styling. The capacity seemed a little smaller than what I was expecting but when you consider no ice and normal accessibility to grocery stores it is plenty for short trips.
Used the freezer and refrigerator for a five day camping trip and it was flawless. Efficient, consistent temperature and plenty of space for a five (and longer) day trip. Was initially concerned there was t enough room but we returned with plenty of food left over.
We bought an APL55 to eliminate ice purchases for our 2 45qt coolers. Over the last 10 years we have probably spent enough on ice to buy the rv park we stay at. Pleasantly surprised that the APL55 held as much as our two ice coolers. No spoilage either.
I really like the ICECO fridge! It’s very convenient, easy to use, and not too heavy, which makes it easy to move around.

The delivery met the expectation that was established pre-order.
Performance after using continuously for three weeks is outstanding. Set temperatures are well maintained in the Eco mode.
I’m using this as a secondary refrigerator/freezer on an older trawler that was designed with inadequate refrigeration space. The ICECO out performs the original Boat refrigerator both in power consumption and can reach lower temperatures.
So far so good. Havent used this much... so far. One thing I've noticed is the fridge lid is not user friendly as it has to have a lot of space above and in a jeep with limited space that is not as easy as it seems. Putting it on a slider would be helpful but the power is not on both ends of the cooler soooo... this is another problem. I should have done more research as I see some coolers have lids that open every which way. I've used the battery twice which has been nice. the cooler gets cold very quickly a real positive. Overall I like my purchase but may have made some other choices if I had taken my time thinking it through. I would purchase again just based on my limited usage.
I’ve been using Yeti coolers for years and honestly never thought I’d replace them. After buying the Iceco APL35, I can confidently say I don’t see myself going back.
The build quality is outstanding. It feels incredibly solid, the latches are sturdy, and the overall fit and finish exceeded my expectations. Instead of constantly buying ice and dealing with melted water, I just set the temperature I want and everything stays perfectly cold. It’s a complete game changer for camping, road trips, and overlanding.
The APL35 is also surprisingly efficient. It cools down quickly, runs quietly, and uses very little power. The dual-opening lid is a thoughtful feature that makes it easy to access food no matter how it’s packed in the vehicle. The size is perfect too—large enough to hold several days’ worth of food and drinks without taking up a ton of space.
The biggest surprise was the value. Considering what premium rotomolded coolers cost these days, the Iceco provides so much more functionality for the money. After using it, my Yetis are just collecting dust.
If you’re on the fence about switching from a traditional cooler to a portable fridge/freezer, don’t hesitate. The Iceco APL35 has been one of the best camping and overlanding purchases I’ve made, and I highly recommend it.
Love that the magnetic battery has such a strong hold, never did us wrong. Holds charge for an extended period of time.
I have had my ICECO VL60 pro single zone for about 2 years now and have had zero issues. Camping trips are now made easy without having to worry about ice everyday as you would with a cooler. I have camped in Various weather temperatures from 20 degrees to 120 degrees and my fridge has stayed operational and stayed cool at the temperature I set. Switching to an ICECO fridge was one of the biggest upgrades I have made.
This chord seems like it will stay better and is more reliable, but I'm annoyed that I have to buy something due to the original equipment being bad.. otherwise I'm pretty happy with icecoe. I do wish they made some sort of direct connect or bus bar instead of these cigarette style.
I just can’t find anything to pick on. It maintains a consistent temp even in my shop which is often 104*. It is surprisingly efficient, pulls about 60 watts. And the build quality is peerless.
