I’ve always knew these were the way forward, after months of research I just heard too many good things about this product not to go with it. We are on our first trip testing this product out and we have arrived with no soggy and wet food! The fridge worked so well in the gladiator and is now based up outside acting as a communal drinks cooler! Awesome, so glad I finally bit the bullet on the price of this.

Tripple digits outside. Fridge stays cold, even when inside vehicle temps exceed 120 degrees F. Quiet and efficient.

Used this for a week long trip from HOU to San Juan Mountains in Colorado. The VL45ProS is perfect to keep all our food for two people/ 1 week exactly how we needed it without any effort even in the 100+ temps driving across Texas and then rather warm 80's in the mountains. We were even more impressed with how efficient the unit is as our Bluetti EB55 powered the ICECO when the truck was powered down and we were able to make it all week without even plugging in solar to recharge. The size also works well for one person to move when you need to.

An amazing fridge. I work out of town a lot and I’m able to take this fridge with me to keep my food and drinks. Nice and cold and fresh. One of the best purchases I’ve done and even the warranty Department is amazing. Great customer service 100% recommend this product.

I own a VL45ProS and I can honestly say it is great for keeping food and drinks cold or even frozen. I use it as a daily refrigerator in my semi-truck. I can meal prep and have drinks for an entire week with the great space inside.I am greatly satisfied with how it works and stays cold the way I like it.

It's awesome unit, I'm 100% off-grid living, went out for 2-weeks and my power station had no trouble keeping up and the volume in refrigerator easily lasted as well.

I tested my new iceco in my kitchen, it got a case of water down to my set temp in short order -quietly, which was all nice. I’m going offroad with it this weekend, so we will see how it handles jeeping about soon.

Had this Fridge for a couple of years now. Great for trips and to keep snacks cool in the house too. Would recommend it to anyone

I installed this in the back of my Bronco running off an EcoFlow Delta 2 power bank.

Energy Consumption - A

Pretty impressed here, I did not expect the power bank to last so long. I currently have the fridge set up with the larger section at 0 degrees and the smaller at 34 degrees. With a full power bank, the EcoFlow is telling me it will run for 3+ days. I currently have the power bank charging off the rear 12 volt and as long as I drive about 30-60 minutes a day it tops back up to 100% meaning I should be able to keep this Iceco fridge running continuously.

Build Quality - A+

It is hard to tell from photos online, but this thing is built like a tank. Very solid construction and attention to detail appears to be high throughout. Love the gray color!

Function - A

The unit itself seems to get to temp quickly and hold it well. My fridge is filled with water bottles that are kept ice cold, the freezer we have been using for keeping meat and ice cream frozen and it has been working wonderfully. The Iceco app is a nice feature, and I like that it is CarPlay compatible however the current CarPlay version is near useless. Running the app directly from the phone is great.

Longevity - TBD

Time will tell as I have only been running it for a matter of days.

Customer Service - A+ (I hope, will update)

I had a minor issue with my purchase (unrelated to the quality or function of the product) and customer service has been in contact with me and we are actively working together to resolve my issue. This is nice to see given many companies I have dealt with in the past make any sort of problem resolution incredibly difficult.

great cooler

I purchased this for camping. I plan on using a solar generator as the power source and was drawn with the reviews on how efficient the compressor is allowing for low power consumption. It looks great too and is not too heavy. The basket is designed in a way that allows access to the lower portion of the fridge without having to remove it.

I've taken this on two long distant camping road trips now and it's a game changer! We love it so much. Worth every penny. The lid is the best feature!

We bought the iceco battery and it usually lasts us about 18 hours if it's 70 degree. If the car gets hot and the cooler has to work hard it'll drain the battery in just a few hours. The small battery is great if you're driving a lot, but the large power bank would have been nice when were were at camp for days and don't have a electric car to keep it charged. I have a plugin/hybrid car that works great for keeping it charged while we're at camp.

The cooler is heavy so I always ask my husband to help move it so i don't accidentally bang it up.

Love ours. Works as promised. Love how the lid flips. Can open either direction. LED light is very useful. Cools great and keeps it cool. Faultless. Bought the cover as well.

Fridge / freezer arrived very quickly and in good condition, despite the box appearing a bit beat up. Fridge cools quickly and kept cool pretty evenly throughout. Fridge looks great and ran overnight in a small power bank with no issues. Pleased so far!

We used this on a 3 week trip in Colorado and New Mexico during August. For the first week and a half or so we had it set to keep food frozen. The cooler was kept in the back of our truck under the bed cover in 100+ degrees weather. Food stayed frozen without issue. About halfway through the trip as we worked our way through our food store, we transitioned to khaki t the cooler set to 35 degrees. On this setting I was frankly surprised at how efficient the cooler was. It would go hours without running just because it was able to maintain the set temperature. This speaks volumes to the quality of construction and materials. Over all we’re very happy with this cooler.

I have only used this cooler once but has worked well. Great product. Only thing from a 5 star is the price. It’s a shame to pay these prices.

Update Oct'25: ICECO reached out to me shortly after they saw my review. They offered me a free protective cover to hide the scar. It was the best solution given than I didn't want to go through the hassle of doing an exchange or refund. I'm changing my rating from 3 to 4 stars because they tried to remedy the situation.

My $750 fridge arrived with a 2-inch dent on one side. I blame ICECO more than FedEx's rough handling because there was nothing but air between the medium-weight cardboard and the fridge. I'm keeping it because it's super heavy and it seems to be working okay but I think unkind thoughts about ICECO every time I see that scar in my brand new, expensive purchase.

Great little portable fridge/freezer. This is well worth the money, however the only think I would change is a better seal around the multi direction opening lid. Other than that. Love it!

I already have an ICECO fridge in the back of one of my Toyota Sequoias, it's been great, so I got another for another Sequoia. I use them for my guiding business in Moab UT...and my clients are blown away when they see these! I bet more than one of them has ordered one.

This is just a step up from my vl60. Not as much storage but better performance?

I’ve been running this fridge daily in the back of my truck through cold winters and hot summers with no issues for almost 2 years now. But the best part. their customer service and availability of replacement parts and new accessories

Iceco makes a great 12v fridge and they stand by their product with a great warranty.

This refrigerator is the perfect size, the lid can be opened on either side or removed completely for loading and unloading, I also have shelf above the fridge and the lid has to be removed completely in order for me to take the basket out and get what is underneath. The light inside is a must for use inside my van and at night. The compressor is also very quiet. I cannot say enough good things about my ICECO
