I have only run the unit on AC power so far and it works great. Durable shell and handles, and I like the dual zone. The ability to open the lid from either direction is super convenient. I haven’t gotten the DC to work but customer service has responded to me promptly.

Worth it!

So I bought this big boy and went to the beach for 4 days right afterwards. It performed wonderfully even with 7 people getting stuff out of it all day, each day. It was quite a chunk of money to spend, but it was money well spent. Buy once, cry once. One thing I will note, just skip buying the soft cover that's made for it. It's too loose fitting and the Velcro lid covers just are not practical.

Perfect solution to keep in the back of my truck for when we go shopping or camping. I turn it on when I leave the house and by the time I'm done shopping, it has reached the right temps. Quick delivery.

Great so far, delivery was on time and in nice condition.
Short test shows it getting to both the set freezer temp and fridge temp. Haven't had it long enough for a long performance review, busy seems like it will be great. The top being hinged on either side and reversible really helps when you want to place the air intake vents and cooling fan vent a certain direction

Perfect Flexibility

After a rocky start with delivery abuse, I am very pleased to say that the unit is seemingly no worse for the wear. Ran a week long test on the unit maintaining temp and energy usage and it passed with flying colors. I Would give five stars if we could ship with insurance to force carriers to handle with care. Otherwise this is an awesome product, quality made and sexy styling.. Keep it up ICECO!

Is this unit (or any Iceco unit) weather proof? It would like stay on a slide in the bed of my truck for days while camping and as a result be exposed to the elements.
