95QT VL90ProD Dual Zone RV 12 volt Fridge Freezer | ICECO

We bought this cooler/freezer to keep our ice from melting while we are running drinks out of our lemonade stand! The battery pack with the solar charger keeps the unit running right at 0 degrees in both compartments with ease but noticed we use quite a bit of battery power to keep up with the constant access. We would recommend this line of products to others as we are very pleased with the performance and easy functionality of this unit. A bit pricey but buy once cry once. You get what you pay for and the quality is top notch! We will more than likely get another battery pack and solar charger for this as getting in and out of this unit as many times as we do, it would be nice to have a secondary battery pack to have. That way one can charge while we are using/charging the other!

I received my 95qt VL90ProD a couple of weeks ago.
I had a bad feeling as the box looked like it was in a Delivery Driver Demo Derby.
Sadly, it was dented and the return process began.
ICECO was more than helpful in getting me through the return procedures quickly and painlessly.
The replacement arrived today and it’s perfect!
Now, how does it perform? I have no idea.
That review comes in November!

The only thing that I didn't like is that I didn't get the right protective cover. I got a v75 cover, and I need a 90v 95 quart cover I'll pay the ten dollars more for it.

Bought the VL90ProD in March 2023 and it has been my main unit ever since. The dual zone is the whole reason I went with it - running fridge on one side and freezer on the other means no tradeoffs on longer trips. It holds temperature consistently and has taken normal knocks and travel without complaint. I have a smaller ICECO as well, but this is the one that does the heavy lifting.

This thing is beefy and durable. Set the temp and it took about 10-15 minutes to get there, while being out in the 100 degree summer weather. Would definitely recommend

We live a ways out of town so frozen things and fridge things werent always staying frozen or cold. My wife also has medical complications so we have to take meals that have no sodium in them from home on trips to see family and having the iceco has been a huge help for all of these. It is also very rugged and has survived a tumble from the back of the my truck from mishaps and trucks a long like it never happened, just a few scuffs.

I've had this fridge for about a year now and it has worked flawlessy. I love that it's dual power source. We spend a week at a time at the lake in 100 degree heat and it doesnt miss a beat. We do however have a cover on it and it stays under our ten canopy. I also like that I can monitor the temperature of each zone via the bluetooth app.
I do however have issue with the cover. It stays secure, but it's pretty inconveinient to un-velcro the sides to open the lid. I wish they made a slide for the 95qt. I now have to fabricate one for my truck.

I already own the APL 35 from ICECO and love it for smaller weekend trips, but I wanted something with more capacity for longer adventures — and the 95QT VL90ProD Dual Zone has been perfect for that.
The dual zone setup is a total game-changer. Being able to run one side as a fridge and the other as a freezer makes packing and organizing food for extended trips so much easier. It cools down quickly, holds temperature consistently, and runs quietly.
One feature I really appreciate is the lid design — they can open from either side, which makes a huge difference depending on how it’s positioned in the truck. It’s such a thoughtful and practical detail.
The build quality feels solid and durable, and overall it’s been an awesome addition to my setup. It complements my APL 35 perfectly and gives me the extra space I needed for longer trips.
Highly recommend for anyone who spends serious time on the road.

two days after I received my ICECO Freezer, the fridge/freezer in my kitchen quit working, leaving me with lots of food that needed to be kept fresh or be wasted. I was able to transfer the entire contents of my freezer section into my ICECO Freezer, saving me about half the cost of my unit I had just purchased :) I am very happy I decided to buy the 95QT VL90ProD Dual Zone RV 12 volt Fridge Freezer.

The IceCo VL 90 I recently purchased from IceCo is a high quality product. When you’re wanting a portable fridge AND freezer this company has varying sizes to fit just about anyone’s requirements. You will receive high end equipment intended to provide an easy means of keeping your cool items cool and your frozen items frozen! If you experience any kind of problem or simply have a question about operations of your IceCo product their customer service is very willing to find an answer for you. They really do want happy customers!

Love the cooler but the extra parts were missing and I’m getting excuses that they are out of stock and I will be notified when they come in. I should have been notified before it was shipped that these parts were not available at that time.

I have the VL90ProD and unfortunately, my unit became defective after about 2 1/2 years. I called customer service and without hesitancy they prompt me with two options of exchanging for a remanufactured unit or giving me 50% of a brand new unit of my choice, with Still allowing me time to make a decision between the two based off the time left that I had on my warranty with my current unit. They are very resourceful, & Email responses were very quickly. Overall I’m very satisfied with the customer service that I’ve been receiving from this company, they won’t let you down!!!

Quality product!

Family just got back from a 5 day trip in the Colorado mountains near Royal Gorge. This unit was fantastic from start to finish. First off, we had 4 lbs roasted chicken, 2 lbs meatballs, 3 packs precooked bacon, 4 dozen eggs, 1 lb taco meat, 4 large Greek yogurts, 4 large cottage cheeses, 1 large block Tillamook cheddar, 3 cups cooked rice, 4 quarts of milk, 1 large bag of grapes, 10 kiwis, 2 large tubs of blueberries, 2 large blocks of butter, 1 can of pumpkin for the dogs, and various fruits and veggies. I'm sure I'm leaving some out but suffice it to say that we had all that packed and cold the night before the trip. NO MORE MELTING ICE!!! No more last minute cooler packing!!

Throughout the trip we powered the unit with a Jackery Explorer 2000. If we hadn't had other electronics and kitchen aids draining the unit, I dare say that we could have probably made it through the entire trip on one charge. The eco mode is especially effective, and kept our power consumption very low. We would power down the unit at night (temps in the low 40s) and when we awoke, the inside temperature remained very cold (no higher than 45 degrees) Upon awakening we would turn it on to MAX and it would drop to 33 degrees in under 5 minutes.

The Bluetooth app was friggin awesome. Connectivity issues were non existent, and the ability to adjust setting from the tent was superb. The double hinged doors are well built and super convenient, allowing access from multiple points from the outside of the truck bed where the unit remained (under a commercial cap)

Again, having to need for ice was a massive game changer. Pulling items in and out without everything shifting around and wet was awesome. We purchased the insulated cover to protect the finish of the units exterior, but I'm convinced its thermal protection came into play during the warmer parts of the day. It's a very handsome piece of kit to be sure. Get the cover to protect it.

We used the entire unit as a fridge (33 degrees both sides) but it is clearly up to the task if a freezer is needed. We vacuum sealed and froze all of our meat prior to the trip and kept it in a smaller standard cooler which saved space. Just grabbed out the protein the night before and put it in the ICECO. Price for the 95 was hefty and we had doubts about dropping the cash but after the experience there is no doubt that the investment made our trip so much more of what it should be and less of what it shouldn't. We ate like kings.

We bought this unit for our sailboat - we live full time on our boat and got this so we can stay longer away from the dock. This freezer means freedom. It works like a charm. Easy to set up and worked right away.

The fridge/freezer works as advertised, set it and forget it, cold refrigerator, hard ice-cream. My only complaint is that you don't have slides for the 95q, and when you do it's probably gonna be sliding the long way, some people want a slide to slide the short way.

This cooler is absolutely amazing. We have it on our boat all the time and have traveled all through the Caribbean and it still keeps on cooling. The freezer side keeps our items extremely frozen, while the other side is tuned into a wonderful cool drink temperature. Highly recommend this unit, and the versatility of the multiple opening options of the lids is so wonderful on a boat.

Haven’t used it yet but am happy so far

It runs great. Love everything about it. Even the handle issue people talk about is a non issue once you get a hang of it. You just kinda push down with your palm facing up and hook up with your fingers, easy. One quick hook motion. Usb ports are great for keeping our camp lights and phones charged. I would highly recommend it for folks that are bringing a lot of food on a long trip.

I have only run the unit on AC power so far and it works great. Durable shell and handles, and I like the dual zone. The ability to open the lid from either direction is super convenient. I haven’t gotten the DC to work but customer service has responded to me promptly.

So I bought this big boy and went to the beach for 4 days right afterwards. It performed wonderfully even with 7 people getting stuff out of it all day, each day. It was quite a chunk of money to spend, but it was money well spent. Buy once, cry once. One thing I will note, just skip buying the soft cover that's made for it. It's too loose fitting and the Velcro lid covers just are not practical.

Perfect solution to keep in the back of my truck for when we go shopping or camping. I turn it on when I leave the house and by the time I'm done shopping, it has reached the right temps. Quick delivery.
