80w Solar Panel & Wheel Tray can be purchased separatly.
What can I say. I’ve been looking at getting myself a refrigerator for a while. I’ve checked reviews and watched video reviews online. I decided to go with the APL55 and I’m truly glad I did so. Some of the reasons were the combo of having a fridge and freezer in one. The second was the low power consumption that it claimed to have. I have ran the APL55 off of an Jackery 880 as a test to see what kind of power consumption we were going to be dealing with camping and I was blown away. On a full 100 percent charge in mid 70 degree weather the fridge stayed powered for 72 hours using both the fridge (34 degrees) and freezer (5 degrees). We placed ice cream and drinks in and enjoyed them over the course of the 72 hours without recharging the Jackery. Its low power use is going to be key in longer trips off the grid in our future adventures. The control panel is super easy to use and set up. The App on the other hand could use some work. I really like the sleek gloss black look of the unit. Overall I’m more than satisfied with this purchase and would gladly recommend the APL55 to others looking for a cool product.
Took this out with me for a Jeep Jamboree for three days, performed really well. Love the looks, it's quite, and seems sturdy at this point and the size seemed to be just about right.
Giving 4 stars because part of the fridge dented already, which is a real bummer but didn't impact the performance.
Took our brand new 58QT on a camping trip to Moab and it performed amazing. Kept food cold, was easy to use and loved it. Only complaint, which is more of a lesson-learned, with the lid opening the way it does if you use the dual zone separator be sure you can lift the lid all the way up (I.e. not hit roof of Bronco) else you will be struggling to reach over the separator to get food and drink. This cooler was def one of the best camping items I’ve ever purchased.
Although it arrived with a dent on the end, it functions flawlessly, I have been using it with grid power and I ran it on my bluetti 180ac for 52 hrs and it only dropped to 23%, very happy with it so far and look forward to seeing the country with it in the back of my truck.
Deterred by the price but wanted to get an upgrade from my 45L I currently have to more robust model that my family (4) can uitilize for a couple of days of groceries. This was in my truck bed with a slide in the hot 90+ temps in Badlands, SD and had no interruption with my supplied external bed battery. The fridge held up great and kept everything cold even in eoc mode. I can monitor everything with the bluetooth and two zones I combined to one.
This was very much an upgrade to my overlanding gear! Besides the functions and features, this also gets a lot compliments of how it looks. The only thing I find not so good is the glossy finish. Dust is apparent each time to clean it. Hope I can get a cover to protect the finish.
