We have owned the VL60 for approximately 2 years. In general it's a decent unit. My biggest issue is the power consumption. It doesn't seem to hold temperature very well and seems to run a lot using a lot of excess power. It also can't run and cool both sides at the same time. So if temperatures rise, one side will continue to climb while the other side cools down, then the cycle continues. My suspicion is that just doesn't seal very well when closed. We had once instance of the temperature settings flipping and changing on it's own. For our next one we will look for something better insulated that holds temperature better.
The VL60D has been a great addition to my setup. It cools efficiently, has a spacious interior, and runs quietly—exactly what I needed for road trips and camping. What really sets ICECO apart is the outstanding customer service. They were quick to respond and genuinely helpful with any questions I had. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is just a minor one—there’s always room for small improvements, maybe in terms of display visibility or lid design. Overall, very satisfied and would definitely recommend ICECO!

I purchased this for a bus conversion back in 2020. In 2024, the fridge stopped getting cold, so I sent in an email to their support in light of their 5 year warranty on their compressor. They honored the warranty after I checked everything to make sure it was the compressor that had failed. They didn't have a refurbished VL60 dual zone in stock, but they did offer me a major discount to buy it new or they offered to replace it with the APL55 or to wait to until they got the VL60 back in stock. I chose to wait, and sure enough - after a couple of months they sent me the new one, provided me with a return label to ship the old one back to them in the new box. I had wanted to send the old one back earlier, but they wanted me to wait and reuse the same box that the new one was coming in. My original one did not come with a cover, but they gave me a cover with the replacement one (and let me keep it when I emailed them about it). The new fridge they sent me didn't come with the cables to plug it in, but they let me keep the cables from the old fridge. Though there was quiet a bit of back and forth communication (some of which was confusing or unclear), but in the end they delivered on all fronts and honored their warranty and were very kind, helpful and responsive! Overall, I'd highly recommend!

Hello! I ordered a VL60 recently and absolutely love it. I’ve already posted a review in my YouTube channel, Go Take The Ride. I thought that the insulated cover would be included in the package that I ordered and was expecting it, however it was not included. I notice that they are sold out on the website, so I was wondering if they were supposed to be included but was left out of the package to keep orders from being delayed. If so, I would greatly appreciate having an insulated cover for my freezer as it was one of the reasons I had decided to go with this model. Thank you
