Well I finally talked my wife into letting us get the Alp55. She was hesitant due to the large upfront cost. After one weekend trip with this unit she was sold. No more soggy food. No more ice hassle. No more mess. It is a heavy unit, but I'd compare it to a 70qt insulated ice cooler in weight and capacity, once you add the ice. We also picked up the insulated cover and battery pack. When paired with my anker solix c2000 plus a 200watt solar panel, it will run indefinitely as long as we have sun. The unit would take my battery down to 89% over night and charge back up within 2hrs and be at full capacity throughout the day. Would highly recommend!

I got this cover for my VL45Pro due to the fridge working hard to keep my fridge cool when it’s over 100° here in Arizona. After getting the cover I noticed a difference in how hard the fridge has to work to keep my fridge cool. Plus as an added bonus this protector will help parent any damage to the fridges exterior when it’s in the bed of my truck during offroad and camping trips.
We have the silver version of this fridge and love it so we decided to get another one in a different color for our other truck. We love how light weight it is being aluminum and also love the dual zone so we can bring ice cream to camp. Highly recommend this fridge!

ICECO is a superior quality product that will keep your items refrigerated and if using a dual zone product, frozen items as well. Itis economical in power usage, particularly with the eco mode. No melting ice! No water. This is a very convenient and clean piece of equipment. Wonderful for use while enjoying the outdoors.
Used on two trips without a problem. Hoping it lasts for years.
I live on a sailboat. I have the larger side set for a freezer which holds about 6 weeks of meats. This was my 2nd unit, 1st one lasted 4 years of constant use. Salt Air rusted the exterior but it was still working when I replaced it.
The only thing I would rather the lid hinge on the long side rather than the short as inside cargo area of the LC it won’t open all the way. That being said I probably could have purchased a different model that would have solved that issue.
I purchased a couple other 12v fridges and they worked great but I wanted to step up a notch and get a larger size and I liked the lid opening from the end rather than the side for my installation.
Right out of the package this performs well. The power consumption is so low that I won't have to take as many batteries boondocking. Looking forward to many great trips with it.

So fare the unit seams to function correctly . My only complaint is the taps used to keep the lid closed messed up the finish of the otherwise beautiful finish.
