It's been running at 0 degrees for 2 weeks and no issues,I'm a truck driver and needed additional freezer space to hold home cooked meals, 1st use I got 11 gallon bags of various soups in unit.now the stock truck fridge will hold fresh fruits and vegetables while a have a small deep freezer for my 24 to 30 days out enjoying this wonderful country and all of you crazy drivers.
Plugged it into the EcoFlow and within an hour we had frozen water bottles. So far so good.
Frig works great when connected to the solar generator AC outlet. When connected to the Jackery 1000 solar generator 12v outlet for over-landing I get a 1E (low voltage) error code and frig shuts off. The solar generator is rated for more than the frig amp draw. Many people on line complain about the same issue. I am going to try another brand solar generator. If it has the same issue the frig may have an instantaneous surge draw greater than listed in the specs only when the pump kicks on. Hope all works well when I get the new generator.

I’ve had my JP50 the previous generation since 2022 and it is still working great! I’ve been really happy with the ICECO JP50BGN. It keeps everything cold and has worked great plugged into the rear 12V port in my van, on shore power, and now with my BLUETTI AC70 power station. With the AC70 and a 100W solar panel, I’m basically able to keep it running indefinitely as long as I get at least a few solid hours of sun. It’s been a huge upgrade from dealing with ice, soggy food, and cooler runs. For camping, road trips, and van use, this thing has been awesome.

The only thing I would rather the lid hinge on the long side rather than the short as inside cargo area of the LC it won’t open all the way. That being said I probably could have purchased a different model that would have solved that issue.
Right out of the package this performs well. The power consumption is so low that I won't have to take as many batteries boondocking. Looking forward to many great trips with it.
The purchase process was great and getting it delivered was very smooth. The package arrived very secure and packaged well. Have used the JP50PROD a couple times and works great even using the app. Looking forward on using it on long trips while traveling the country.

So far I am owing this. But…I have only tried it out in the house. It has run on different modes for 2 weeks now. I have also ran it on the power bank. I was surprised at how long the power bank lasted. I am sure it will run differently when outside in the heat. I am a Wildland Fire Investigator and spend my summers out in the field. I will be using it outside starting June and will report back to you on its performance at that time. So far a big thumbs up!
Made our first cross country trip with the ICECO JP Pro Series 40 QT and honestly not sure how we lived without it before now.

I have gone through a bunch of different fridges trying to find something that is perfect for a week of solo overlanding. I tried cheap fridges from Amazon, but finally landed on liking the value offered by ICECO. Within their lineup, I tried a number of options including the VL45, Go20, APL20, and finally this JP40ProD. They were all amazing in their own way, but the JP40ProD is now my go-to (I have since sold the VL45 and Go20, but kept the APL20 for my office). For travel, the JP40ProD seems to have all the features I want. Dual zone (optional), DC on both sides of the unit, wheels, lightweight (compared to the VL series!), door that opens multiple ways, UV, a basket, a drain plug, app control, and an insulated cover. While there are other fridges that offer all these things, this is the only one that does so at this price and at this weight. It's whisper-quiet and has never once suddenly stopped working mid-trip. It's sturdy and well-built and I expect it to last me for years and years.
The free fridge cover you sent out was the wrong size and it ripped. That was not cool to send out the wrong size. Not I don't have a usable cover!
My first 12 volt fridge. Been traveling across the country with it. Been very reliable so far. The wheels make it easy to take into a hotel room when you decide to take a shower and charge devices.
We love our ICECO fridge and have been using it as the armrest in our NV for years now. We love having cold drinks and snacks on long car trips and it was the best decision we made to put it in there!
Bought my Iceco JP50 on the recommendation of a friend.
Immediately upon receiving I was impressed with the construction.
The fit and finish is excellent. Components like the wheels and the handles are of robust materials. The 2 power cords included are quality too. The control panel for this 2 zone unit is easy to read and simple to operate.
I opted to add the cover and glad I did. The efficiency bump is appreciated and the comfort knowing the unit is better protected is a bonus. 2 pockets on the cover are a handy place to store the power cords. Based on what I’ve seen of the unit I’m expecting great performance and longevity.
This is going to be a game changer for us when we camp. Happy to have purchased a unit with dual zones. We can freeze ice packs to use in our regular cooler, and not have to purchase bags of ice and deal with melted ice and soggy food. It is very quick to get to desired temp. Love the wheels, appreciate that the lid opens from either end and you can also take it completely off for loading and unloading. The cover is nice too. Seems like a quality build.
I bought this to compliment the built-in fridge in my van for longer trips. It really extends the available fridge space and even more so the freezer space. Works flawlessly and I'm really pleased with the low power consumption. It cools down quickly before a trip, seemingly faster than my van fridge.
I have used my JP40ProD for car camping. This is my 25th nite using my ICECO and I highly recommend it! I am in an Subaru Outback and I find the 40 is the perfect size but more importantly, the refrigerator/ freezer has worked flawlessly. I have kept a gallon and a couple of pints of ice cream cold and kept deli meets at just the right temperature.
I find that I am saving money by not having to trash spoiled food.
I love my new iceco it works flawlessly. I have had it running for a few weeks, and it's doing great!!!
Perfect size for two adults to enjoy a long weekend camping.
I recently purchased the JP40 dual zone and love it. Just the right size for one or two people for a few days. It cools down quickly. I generally run it off my solar battery and the power drain is minimal. It can last a few days on one charge. I was little hesitant to spend that much on a fridge/freezer, but buying a high quality cooler and having to fill it with ice and not having dual temperatures controlled zones in a cooler, it was easy to justify. I have it attached to my Decked system onnthe slide mount and generally leave itnin my truck most of the time. Great investment and great having when out camping or just in town and need a fridge.
