Bought this for an extended road trip through Newfoundland. Big step up from sloshing, ice filled coolers. Got an Anker Solix 300 to keep it company and relieve pressure from the car battery and the combo works great. Wish the shelf inside that makes room for the compressor were a bit smaller, but, so far, happy with this well built equipment

The VL35ProS is the perfect size fridge/freezer! It fits everything I need for a week’s worth of work (drinks, meals, snacks,etc). It keeps everything nice and cold in this Florida heat. Pair it up with the insulated cover and it barely draws any power. This is my second Iceco purchase. We are highly impressed with our APL55 that purchasing from Iceco again was a no brainer. Thank you Iceco for producing a great product at a reasonable price! Best bang for your buck!

I'm loving this fridge! Draws hardly any power. Stays consistent temps. This replaced an older cheaper one that I was always fighting with. Well worth the money! And I love the green color too:)

This thing uses power sparingly! Great efficiency after initial cooldown. Multi day trips off grid made way easier. Time will tell on durability, but so far so awesome!

I haven't had a chance to use the new one, next month it goes to Baja. My first fridge is still in great shape after several years and thousands of off road miles. Highly recommend Iceco.

Needed a freezer for camping on the road. As a freezer, it keeps things frozen. I have it plugged into a Rivian R1T. Depending on outside temp and unit temp, based on truck app it uses 3-5 kWh of battery per day. Less would be better, but with typical charging stops, it’s not critical. If we were off the grid for a week or more, I’d need to plan timing or consider adding solar panels, which are an option.

I was able to keep quite a bit of meat frozen for a camping bbq. Really great product

Very well made and easy to operate! Cooks down very quickly and uses a minimal amount of energy. Super happy!

I've only used it twice since we've bought it, but it's been great so far. Barely uses any DC power on our powerbank after it gets cooled down. We use this for a "base camp" we have on our property, so we are able to pre-cool it before we bring it up, I think that probably helps conserve a lot of the initial power use. Can fit enough food for a night or two along with drinks and cold snacks for the kids. We have a family of 4, and I would say it's good for 2 days of food/drinks. For a single couple, probably could do a long weekend easy.

I'm using the Iceco fridge in my Ford Transit van, powered by my ecoflow power station. It will run for a couple of days , at which point I can recharge the Ecoflow using my alternator connection in an hour, providing another couple of days operating time. I like the double access lid and how quiet it is. I'm Using it for travel but at home , I can do food shopping and not have to go straight home. Unload at my convenience.

We have purchased two other brands to use as back up freezer. One failed during a trip to Newfoundland. The other has trouble keeping temp low enough- often rising to near 30 during day on house battery. This model has no trouble getting very cold and staying very cold on a back up battery. It is well insulated and the top opens on both sides making dood very accessible.

I purchased the VL35ProS in Olive color back in November, and my experience with this 12-volt fridge has been fantastic. As someone who enjoys camping and mountain biking, having a fridge like this is incredibly convenient for weekend trips. The fridge feels solid and well-built, and the design is sleek and stylish. One of the standout features is the complimentary battery pack that came with the fridge. Overall it’s a great fridge freezer and I really like the olive color! No issues keeping my food frozen when I drove cross country, or keeping my drinks and food cold all week during my last trip. Being able to open the lid from either side is awesome! I would buy again for sure.

The only negative I have with it is the seams of the liner inside the cooler. After my last trip I had a mix of liquid/water in the bottom from leaky food containers. I drained it out and wiped it down. I thought it was clean but more of the liquid seeped out from in between the seams of the liner. That could be a real issue if something like milk or juice from a package of chicken leaks and gets into the seams.
I plan to clean mine out real well and seal the seams with silicone.

Also, the App can be a bit clunky at times. I would hit the “minus” button to drop the temp from 37F to 32F and it would just reset the setting to “freezer” and 0 F.

Lid opens 3 ways, Plenty of room for a long weekend getaway with food and drinks for 2+ people. 2 days using it and my inverter source was only at 60%. Another plus its super quiet too.

Even though the cooler came too late for my 8-day Baja trip the week before Thanksgiving, I'll be using it for a longer Baja overland trip in February. I came home to one of the coolest items of gear I've ever seen, and I've been trying out the cooler at home, as well as the battery power banks and solar panels I received right before leaving for the trip. Awesome sauce. Each battery bank gives about 20 hours of run time, so they'll easily last overnight while camped. They charge using the solar panel in less than a day, so I'll be able to keep a backup power bank topped off even during extended stays when the truck is not running. The cooler is a perfect fit in the Extended Cab area behind the passenger seat of my older Tacoma, easily accessible with its automatic slide forward when I activate the seat back lever. The 12-volt cigarette lighter plug cord is easily long enough to reach the cooler, with just enough extra to route the cord in a way that is out of the way, almost invisible. It is really handy that this cooler's lid opens either direction, to suit where I've located it. It's a bit heavy, but I don't plan on leaving it right where installed and just grabbing what I need when prepping meals or grabbing a beverage.
