We just used our ICECO on an 11 day trip across the country and it worked fantastic. Would buy again.
I’ve had my JP50 the previous generation since 2022 and it is still working great! I’ve been really happy with the ICECO JP50BGN. It keeps everything cold and has worked great plugged into the rear 12V port in my van, on shore power, and now with my BLUETTI AC70 power station. With the AC70 and a 100W solar panel, I’m basically able to keep it running indefinitely as long as I get at least a few solid hours of sun. It’s been a huge upgrade from dealing with ice, soggy food, and cooler runs. For camping, road trips, and van use, this thing has been awesome.
Perfect size for overlanding. Works very well with accurate temperature control. Two customizable compartments. Very intuitive, with and without the app.
I received my Iceco on a Friday , plugged it in to cool. Loaded it up the next day and boondocked in the superior national forest for 7 days. Ran it on a power station and it kept everything fresh and frozen. Total game changer.
Great product, used 12 days straight first outing and 6 days second outing. Worked as intended and kept temperature where set. Yes would buy again.
Watching Overlanding videos for years I came to believe that ICECO was the leader in the industry. I’ve been well pleased with the operation of the APL55. It has changed the way I am camping. I can carry frozen food and refrigerate food without having to worry about getting it wet.
Great product I would recommend this for anyone.
I’ve only had a chance to use it once, but I like the setup better than my previous (different brand) unit that somehow only lasted a year and one month before it stopped working. Getting ready to head out for some vacation time, I’m expecting it will work well. I like the dual direction lids. Very convenient!
Using for first time in two week road trip. Working great. Running off a BLUETTI power pack in truck and so far it’s doing great
If you camp regularly or travel by car and enjoy taking a cooler, this is a good investment. Makes packing and organizing food easier with the two racks. No icy mess to pick through when looking for food in the fridge. Perfect size for a family of 3 for a 2-3 day trip.
Tried it at home with my power bank. I was impressed with how long the charge lasted.
Received this fridge just in time for our road trip to California from Colorado. Has been an absolute amazing addition to our family’s adventure and extremely glad to have a fridge/freezer with such a low energy consumption.
Fridge and freezer reach temp rapidly and keep temp. Runs efficiently with my Bluetti 100V2. With 100 watt panel had no problem running 4 days with Bluetti. Love it

This is my 5th ICECO unit. My 1st is a VL45 Pro (purchased in Aug. 2021). The 2nd is a JP30 (purchased in Nov. 2021). The 3rd is a JP40 (purchased in Dec. 2022). The 4th is another JP30 along with this 5th one VL75 Pro (purchased both in Dec. 2024). All are excellent units. All are still currently 100% operational. 2 are permanent installations in my Class B RV (VL45 Pro & JP40). 2 are permanently used in my home (VL75 Pro & JP30). And 1 is permanently in our minivan or car depending on which we are using for out of town drives (JP30). My biggest reason for purchasing all my ICECO units is the units having SECOP compressors. A 5-yr. compressor warranty at these pricepoints definitely make them a top choice to purchase. But that alone was not enough - I did a good amount of research time to read customer reviews to make sure reliability was not compromised for lower price. I have also purchased numerous accessories for all of them - mostly the exterior insulated covers and additional DC cords to have permanently inside each of our family member's vehicles making it easy to move them around. I had 1 issue in 1 of the orders due to shipper's damage (not an ICECO fault). Contacting Customer Support was easy and got the problem resolved to my satisfaction. The fact that my oldest one (almost 5 yrs. old) is still working without any degradation in performance is well enough reason for me to keep buying them as our needs arise. I did a temperature check on my VL45 Pro how cold the unit would get in freezer mode. Using a Fluke 62 Max IR Thermometer with the lid open, I consistently read below -10deg.F in every corner of the unit. I use SensorPush sensors in all my units consistently get readings of -4degF or lower when in freezer mode, EVEN on the non-Pro models like my JP40. Attached is a screenshot from one of my SensorPush sensors inside my JP40 during a camping trip in my RV. It recorded a low of -13.3degF during the compressor cycle. The average was -3.8degF for the entire week.
