I have a truck and the fridge will be on my truck bed exposed to all the elements. Can the fridge withstand dust and rain? Does this have a cover?
Hi, VL60ProS degined to be weatherproof, but we did suggest that do not let the machine exposed to the heavy rain.

I ordered the VL60ProS. It is great. Took it on a short three day trip and was very happy with how little it uses power. I will do a long term review over the summer. But right now I couldn’t be happier.
My VL60ProS arrived on a hand truck, standing on its side. I knew to inspect the package for damages and found none. I removed the fridge completely from the packaging and sat it on the floor. I left it unplugged and not running for 8 hours to ensure any refrigerant or oil made their way back into the compressor. I started off turning the fridge on using AC power, set it to max mode and set the temp to mid 30's (I forgot to note the exact temperature.) The cooler was pretty quiet, sort of the same loudness as my gaming PC, slightly different tone of course. Without food inside, it seems to run cooler inside than the indicator displays. My thermometer was showing 33 degrees after about 3 hours plugged in. I'll see if it is the same way for the 12V input. Just something to note. I'd like it to stay 35-38 degrees as much as possible. Overall, this is beautiful and very functional. The VL60ProS is a big step up in size from my old 35 liter ARB! I'll review it after a few trips with it. For now, I like the build quality, looks and that it functions out of the box.
I've had the fridge for a short time so we'll call it a short review so far I like it better than the ARB element I gave up the temperature inside seems to be pretty accurate compared to the ARB sometimes the ARB wouldn't shut off so it would freeze my contents so at half the price of the element and the way the door works I've been very happy cools down quick but only time will tell Will it hold up
Debated buying the discounted vl60 but opted for the updated look and function of the lid. I'm glad I did! This thing is a beast! Packed for 4 people and 3 nights, still had ample room. This thing is huge! Now just have to get the temperature right; went off the label and woke up to everything frozen. Awesome fridge and would not consider another brand.
The VL60ProS is just about everything we could want from a powered cooler and easily beat the competition a second time to take home. It displays impressive temperature control, is almost ridiculously sturdy, consistently energy efficient, easy to use, and more portable than we expected. The VL60ProS is a worthwhile investment.
