so far so good

using it in our converted transit van, so much nicer than the typical camper fridge, holds way more food than i thought it would.

Falls short for price.

I've sold my ARB ZERO 63qt to downsize to pick this up.
Pros:
Pretty quiet
Lid opens either way and completely off.
Spares parts

Cons:
Lid very shaky when shut, doesn't feel securely shut when closed, can giggle around.
Interior is old aluminum lining technology (hard to clean compared to smooth plastic ones)
Very unbalanced, compressor is sitting up front and makes the fridge about 50lbs in the front and 20lbs in the back when empty.
Bottom corners are plastic and feel like they can break very easily.
No specific place for tie down other than handles.
12v cigarette lighter cable is too stiff and pushes itself out to any vibration.
Smart Battery setting does not work correctly, lowest setting should shut down the fridge once reaching 9.5v and Errors out at 11.2v (running independent battery setup)
No Bluetooth connectivity.
Lid handles to open are counter intuitive, you need to push the handle down to pull up and open.

TLDR: Only buy this fridge if you get it on sale for <$500 (USD) Save your money and get a better brand or model, I can't speak for other Iceco model.

Camping upgrade!

Until we got this VL45Pro S, we used a 52QT cooler for camping trips. The cooler was honestly great but having to deal with ice was just always a hassle somehow. We heard all the time how nice it was to have a portable fridge but I felt like the difference couldn’t be that drastic. I was incorrect. It was an absolute game changer being able to pack and use our items without even thinking about ice. Our portable power bank had no issues running it overnight while it sipped energy at around 30-35W at most set at 34 degrees. The lid is by far my favorite feature. Having the ability to open it from either side is incredible when it’s loaded in our Jeep, our boys can grab a drink from the backseat, or I can grab something from the cargo area and we don’t have to reorient it at all. I could go on and on but, in summary, I wish I’d bought a portable fridge sooner and I couldn’t be happier with this one from ICECO.

Great Fridge

I got this fridge with the insulated protective cover and has been great! There a few things I don’t necessarily like but they’re nitpicking things at most. It’s a little heavier than I was anticipating and with that said the handles don’t exactly feel like they are solid enough for the weight but I have yet to have an issue and even if so they give you a replacement handle which is nice. Also as others have mentioned, I feel the sealing on the lid could be tighter but is not terrible and doesn’t feel like any cold air is getting passed the lid. For what I’m using it for, it’s great and has PLENTY of room for 2 people for extended times out! Good job making an affordable fridge ICECO.
