Absolute Game Changer!

My overland camping set up is complete with the addition of the ICECO VL45 Pro S. I set it up for the test run with an inside ambient temp of 70 deg. Literally within 20 min it reached my set temp of 32 deg, corroborated by the interior thermometer I’d placed inside. Love the rugged look of the unit and the apparent durability. From running errands to camping I am set. Looking forward to years of use.

First vacation using the VL45ProS

I used the unit on my recent trip to northern WI, My vehicle uses a two battery (isolated) system with an 3000 watt inverter. No problems with the fridge/freezer were noted. However when driving the SUV on trips I would set the temperature to a low value to assure when traveling with the motor running the food could become very cold (acting as a cold reserve). This suggestion should be considered in the instructions. Thanks, Randy [****].

Hi, VL45ProS pays more attention to the details, the upgraded lid can open from each side or take off the whole lid, add a USB outlet and drain plug, dual DC power socket at each end. Also, their manufacturing processes are also completely different. But they are the same high-quality fridge, you can buy according to your own needs.
