63.4QT VL60 Dual Zone Metal Fridge Freezer with Cover | ICECO

We've had our VL60D for over 4 years now. Power is alternated between the truck battery and a Jackery 500. Still running strong. Recently damaged the control panel and parts are still available! Great for our family of 4 during extended camping and overland trips.

Using it in our cargo trailer conversion has been awesome. Much easier than a typical Rv fridge/freezer and can move it around witg ease. The freezer side worked awesome when we tested it but only going on 2-3 day trips having both sides as a fridge allows us to bring enough food for a weekend! Very quiet compressor. I also bought the battery pack to hook up to the fridge while were driving and keeps it running for several hours when set to 34 degrees.

Just finished up a 7 day trip in the desert and high mountains and it worked great! Very quiet. Learned in the desert to make sure that the vents are covered so it can work efficiently (my fault). Love the locks of the doors, baskets are perfect size, and the cover looks great.

We have owned the VL60 for approximately 2 years. In general it's a decent unit. My biggest issue is the power consumption. It doesn't seem to hold temperature very well and seems to run a lot using a lot of excess power. It also can't run and cool both sides at the same time. So if temperatures rise, one side will continue to climb while the other side cools down, then the cycle continues. My suspicion is that just doesn't seal very well when closed. We had once instance of the temperature settings flipping and changing on it's own. For our next one we will look for something better insulated that holds temperature better.

The VL60D has been a great addition to my setup. It cools efficiently, has a spacious interior, and runs quietly—exactly what I needed for road trips and camping. What really sets ICECO apart is the outstanding customer service. They were quick to respond and genuinely helpful with any questions I had. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is just a minor one—there’s always room for small improvements, maybe in terms of display visibility or lid design. Overall, very satisfied and would definitely recommend ICECO!
