The VL65D is a gamechanger for us and I realize that we should have gotten one of these sooner. The best aspect of the fridge is that we will no longer be hunting around for ice when we would rather be up on the side of the mountain. I was unsure that the freezer side of my set up would be able keep a quart of ice cream frozen but it did just that; and in the hottest month of the year. I did use the cover and the fridge did need to be plugged in all the time to keep the ice cream frozen but power consumption was low enough that my 2400w solar generator was able keep up without any issues using just the solar panels to recharge. All in all this fridge will allow us to go to more remote places for longer periods of time and not have to worry about melting ice.
So far so good. No complaints, runs great with my jackery 1000 power supply for two days before needing to charge my jackery.

Pass-through charging makes this perfect for long road trips! Plugged my 45l IceCo fridge into it and it into my cigarette outlet for a 10 day trip to and from S Texas. Was fully charged every night and never below 50% after 12 hours overnight. Once in Texas I had 4 one to two hour drives each day with long stints parked in the sun during the heat of the day in between. The battery charged efficiently and kept the fridge running throughout. Will see how long it lasts with this type of cycling - but works brilliantly for hunt trips!

Has been rock solid except for an episode where it would not cool until I powered it down for several hours. Happened after it was already cool and I removed the divider. Has been fine since. Get a lot of compliments and questions when people see it.
I recently got this for all my long camping/offroading trips. Packaged well, the box was rough shape due to handling during shipping but the fridge was fine. Used it in conjunction with a battery power bank and solar panels, great not having to worry about ice. I ran it for over a week straight with zero issues. Couldn't even hear it running while driving.

I bought this to compliment the built-in fridge in my van for longer trips. It really extends the available fridge space and even more so the freezer space. Works flawlessly and I'm really pleased with the low power consumption. It cools down quickly before a trip, seemingly faster than my van fridge.
My wife and I purchased the JP50 Pro as part of our van build, and after five months of use, we couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Today, the power went out due to the winds of Hurricane Helene. I just came back from a 2 week trip to Colorado and Utah. I had been using a cooler until this very trip and honestly this is a game changer, not having to worry about the ice and drain it was just great. The VL60 was the right size for this kind of trip and the light was a great touch and helped a lot finding stuff at night.
