Was expecting a bit more - Still a good Fridge.

I bought the iceco VL45 to replace my dying SetPower RV45. I was hoping for a little
Better quality than the SetPower unit it’s for all intents and purposes looks the same eternally except for color.

However, I found that the fit and finish on this one was sub par, latches and hinges were not square and loose.

Other than those issues the fridge has been good. I like the new power cable setup and the fridge has been really good on current draw.

I also love the new baskets as they seem to fit more than the older design.

Overall a decent unit and am interested to see if it gives me 4+ years of continuous service like my last fridge.

A lot better than putting ice every day. Probably buy another one for a freezer. Have the cold one in truck so when you go shopping, you have a cooler in your vehicle

Works great!

I just got mine on Friday. I played with it all weekend. I tested everything. It was able to pull the temp down from 80 degs to 37 in about 40 minutes max. I tested the thermometer, it was only off one degree. I do HVAC for a living, 1 degree is really good. Then I turned it down to 6 degrees and made ice overnight. Then I tested the watts, it's advertised at 50 watts it ran at 35 watts. Oh for two days of running and testing it, it was hooked up to a old car battery. So, yes, this is the shit!
