Awesome fridge, clean design.

I've been really impressed with the ICECO ALP55. The build quality feels solid and durable, and it cools incredibly fast—going from ambient temperature to 32°F much quicker than I expected. It's been a great addition for camping, road trips and even Sam's Club runs because it lets me shop farther from home without worrying about keeping refrigerated or frozen items cold. Highly recommend!

I’ve only used it camping once a few days ago and it worked great powered by my bluetti. Having ice cream while camping in 100 degree weather. Nice!!

Hard as a rock. Fridge keeps food nice and cold.

Tested it in direct sunlight and temperature in the high 80’s. Because it is black it was extremely hot to the touch but it worked fantastic.

Adding a bunch of food brings the temp up but it quickly reaches to set temps

Well I finally talked my wife into letting us get the Alp55. She was hesitant due to the large upfront cost. After one weekend trip with this unit she was sold. No more soggy food. No more ice hassle. No more mess. It is a heavy unit, but I'd compare it to a 70qt insulated ice cooler in weight and capacity, once you add the ice. We also picked up the insulated cover and battery pack. When paired with my anker solix c2000 plus a 200watt solar panel, it will run indefinitely as long as we have sun. The unit would take my battery down to 89% over night and charge back up within 2hrs and be at full capacity throughout the day. Would highly recommend!

I purchased a couple other 12v fridges and they worked great but I wanted to step up a notch and get a larger size and I liked the lid opening from the end rather than the side for my installation.

I am so excited to have purchase iceco ALp55 last night. I am so excited. I can’t wait to get it soon so I can start using it at camping. I also want to thank Customer service for assisting me. With this purchase looking forward for future purchases with iceco a five star thank you.

I recently upgraded from the APL35 to the APL55 since I needed more room for longer trips. I absolutely love this fridge! there is nothing like having fresh food when you've been offroad for several days! the APL series looks soo good too!

Besides missing discounts a couple days before and a couple days after, this paying full price I’m still satisfied so far. Just wish I could’ve gotten the 15% discount

I've owned other ICECO units and they've all been reliable and customer service is on point. With my recent order I made mistake and ordered the wrong unit..they made it easy to exchange and honored the promotional deal, all in reasonable time. I've also had an older unit that needed handle replacement (my kids mishandled it) and they sent the new handle at no cost.

I cannot begin to describe how excited I am to leave this review. I vacillated around for quite some time on making this purchase and now I regret waiting so long. I have used this APL 55 all summer on extended overlanding trips, as drink storage in my toy hauler and it has been flawless. I cannot recommend this product enough. Not having the worry or mess of ice is the most freeing feeling!!! Don’t wait like I did, you won’t be sorry!!

I generally like this product. It is big and pretty heavy. Larger than I was expecting. You get good versatility with this unit. So it’s pretty flexible when it comes to use cases. I dropped it a few stars because the freezer needs to be far below freezing to make ice. I set it at 15 degrees for 24 hours and the ice cubes were still not completely frozen.
15July2025 update: Customer service is great. Very helpful and informative. They advised me to set the freezer at 0 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure complete freezing. Planning a cross country road trip and will use this to keep items frozen en route.

I love the unit very much. Customer service however is mediocre. After ordering the wrong color and immediately calling customer service who basically said to bad. However I opened the box and it was damaged so back it went. 8 emails later I finally got my correct unit. Thank you for that. If it wasn’t damaged I would have been disappointed.
It is a great product though.

Love how you can use it as a cooler or a freezer or even split the 2 zones to have one cooler and one freezer. Works great

APL 55 Dual Zone came well packaged and all the parts plus extra spares in good condition. This fridge / freezer was purchased to ride in the rear seat of the crew cab pick up truck for extended periods. I have tested the fridge and freezer by running off the trucks inverter 110AC which will supply up to 400 watts no issue. I tested the 12v DC plug in and this worked well. I also made a third test running the 12v DC side from a 100ah lithium battery. From ambient temp about 60 degrees on both 110V AC and 12v DC settings with the freezer set to 0 and fridge set to 33 it cooled down to temp in less 30 mins empty, and I verified the temp with an inside refrigerator thermometer. I also order the insulated cover, it fits great, and has extra pockets for cords and inside divider. When running it was whisper quiet in the cab of the truck. Impressed so far will see how it holds up.

Excellent build quality. I ran it while traveling using a ecoflow delta 2 power station. Excellent combination. Will run it for 3 days easy before needing a charge.

My apl55 works great. This unit works well with the F150 powerboost 7.2 kw generator. Even better with a battery. We can haul refrigerated vegetables one day and frozen seafood the next or both at once.

After Fed Ex drug their feet about getting it here, it looks fantastic. It’s exactly what we needed on our sailboat. Paired with our Ecoflow power station and solar power we will be able to stay away from shore power indefinitely.

Great fridge! I love the dual zone and the quality is better than expected. If your between the Arb and the Iceco go with the iceco. Same quality for less money.
