Where to start. So after reading throw a lot of reviews for this product I was a little skeptic still after all the positive reviews, thinking that there's no way this cooler could be as good as what everyone's saying. I thought it was just a bunch of yuppies proud of their expensive stuff. But I cannot be more wrong. Yes this product is very pricey but you get what you pay for on this. I've had zero issues with it. Been using it for 3 weeks straight in a semi truck. I have had 0 problems. Temperature stays correct even with opening it about once an hour to get drinks out, the truck sits throughout the weekend without having any battery issues, the LED light is very bright. Overall this has got to be the best 12 volt cooler on the market..
Didn't open until Christmas, but I love it! Very quiet and sips the watts. Goes between 40 and 50 watts depending on the the setting. Quieter than a dorm room small fridge. App is easy to use. No real heat exhausted though. The small dorm fridge gets warm on the sides and this unit blows cool air. Very impressed. Only issue I have is what the unit shows as front and back. To me the front is near the controls and the back is where the wheels are which would make sense, yet the display shows the opposite. To make it more confusing......The app shows both ends as left or right......Not kidding. Outside of that weird confusion, I absolutely love this unit. It's running right now and did go to 0 degrees Fahrenheit in a little over 30 minutes. Was in 72 degree apartment with nothing to cool.

I got the jp40pro to install between the front seats in my truck. It was hard to find a fridge narrow enough to fit and with the door opening the right way. The jp40pro fit perfect and is very efficient. I can run it for almost 4 days on a 1500WatHr battery without recharging.

The problem with ICECO is they have too many to choose from. So it took a long time, watching tons of YouTube video testimonials about why each of the various fridge/freezers was the best choice. In the end, the combination of features made this one the top pick for my needs. First being lightweight. It is most definitely lighter than any other comparable size by any manufacturer. Even lighter than the other ICECO models, by almost half. The lid is genius in its ability to stay open at most any angle. That might seem like a small thing, but it’s huge. Next are the latches to keep it shut. A lid that just closes can bounce around on bumpy roads, not this bad boy. If you want easy access, don’t latch it. Third, the app. HUGE help in monitoring the temperature settings. Fourth, the all aluminum design. Retro in look, but so, so practical and the best looking unit on the market. Fifth, price. Compared to a Dometic, it’s half the expense and uses the same top of the line, next gen SECOP compressor. After all the wading through the options, this was the perfect choice. It holds the temperature perfectly. I don’t think I’ll get the optional cover, seems superfluous, and would hide the beauty of the design. It’s a winner.
We are very impressed with our new Iceco. The quality is evident in the finish and function. We got a very nice freezer for the price and look forward to using it on our boat in the Florida Keys this winter. We first heard of Iceco from watching Brenton and Wavey on their shanty boat.
I live fulltime, in my fifth wheel, deep in the woods of Mississippi and the closest Whole Foods is almost two hours away and Trader Joes 3.5. I like to stock up on frozen, healthy meats, veggies and fruits, but my RV Freezer is tiny. My APL55 has been a game changer. I run both sides as a freezer while I am at home in my camper. When I travel, especially to urban areas, it makes stocking up on healthy foods way less stressful. Also, I am able to travel to family and friends, bring my preferred foods with me and not have to worry about keeping ice in a cooler or asking them to clear fridge and freezer space for me. It makes following a gluten-free, whole foods lifestyle way easier and less stressful. My Dad gifted this to me for Christmas and it's been a blessing for sure.

This is a great unit. It looks great. It cools quickly and has a lot of room now that we don’t need a block of ice. It will be so nice not to have to worry about a lot of water when the ice melts. Love the option feature to cool or freeze. Can’t wait to use it.
