Iceco VL65D

Still running strong after 3 years. I'm out of warranty and door strap broke. Contacted customer service and they sent me the new updated fridge hinges negating the need for the door strap, at no charge. That's just excellent service. Have referred many friends to them. Looking forward to ordering a new fridge from them. Thanks Iceco!

VL65 Dual Zone fridge

The VL65 Dual Zone is built like a tank. We just completed a 12,500, trip mainly off-road, running the fridge non stop for about 90 days straight. Our 100 amp house battery easily ran the unit over night between charges. It bounced around with our Land Cruiser off road from Colorado to Alaska and up to the Arctic Ocean in Canada. Plenty of storage and love having a separate freezer (that means having ice cream in the wilds anytime).

Top Notch Fridge

Upon opening the package, I immediately plugged it in to test. It cooled down very quickly in 100 degree weather here in Arizona. Construction is top notch.

Vl65D

This is a long overdue long term review for the vl65 dual zone fridge. This unit is a beast. We've been using it for the last 2 to 3 years for all of our overlanding and camping trips. It has lived in the back of our Jeep Gladiator for over a year, running 24/7 via solar and a 100ah lipo4 battery for a year with no issue. We now have moved it to our offroad trailer. It has plenty of capacity to carry food and drinks for our family of 4 on week long trips. It's got some bruises but still works perfectly. I've been eyeing one of the newer models but I think the vl series is the most durable. Beyond the quality? Iceco has continued to provide excellent customer service. I've recommended their fridge to all of my buddies. When it's time for a new fridge, I know exactly where I'll go.
