Almost 3 years

Today is May 19, 2024, this 45 was purchased July 17, 2021.
Purchased this unit to replace a failed Edgestar unit. The Iceco has been plugged into both 120 ac and 12 volt dc for most of the time I have owned it with only one issue. If you plug the 12 volt plug in, it is not reliable. There is not enough spring tension to keep the plug in a 12 volt outlet, mine never stays in plugged in when in the bed of my truck. My fix, cut the plug off, put some lugs on it and connected to a 12 volt lifepo4 battery and have never had it stop running when heading to the ranch or four hour drives to the Frio River keeping our drinks and food nice and cold with no ice to deal with.
Great unit, great for overflow at home as well.

Purchased the IceCo 45 portable fridge three years ago and have been very impressed with its performance and sturdiness. I’m often away on backroad trips in BC in summer, and usually head to Utah each spring on a long trip - having a reliable cooler has been a great asset, and I’m happy to recommend this product

extremely well made, runs fairly quiet. Don't know yet how long food will remain frozen after the unit is unplugged. Any suggestions????

Amazing fridge for camping and more!

I've owned my VL45 for 3 years now. It has worked flawlessly. It's use goes way beyond camping as well. It has doubled as a beverage fridge at home and even helped save hundreds of dollars of food when my power went out or my home fridge stopped working. A portable battery pack keeps it going for days. On AC power, it has been going for years! Thanks ICECO!
