The APL 35 with aluminum construction/finish looks great and performs amazingly well. We power ours with an ICECO 250wh power bank. Reaches desired temps in 10-15 minutes and maintains correct temp while in use.

Got this in our Tacoma truck bed - works great with our truck’s built-in power inverter while driving. While camping, we ran it with the ICECO magnetic battery. This is a solid setup for overlanding and camping.

I received the unit and it immediately started throwing E3 error codes. May have been due to shippers placing unit on its end. After several less than satisfactory emails back and forth with support I decided to just return the unit. They did pay return shipping and fully refunded my money at least. 2 stars for that.

I was hesitant to purchase a 12V fridge, but man I'm so glad I did. It's so nice not having food nasty and wet from ice melting. I never realized how much of a pain it was to have to get ice every couple of days with a cooler. And having ice cream on the trail or out camping is insane, everyone was a fan of my iceco APL35. It's so efficient and quiet and well. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

The ICECO APL35 has been a great upgrade from a regular cooler. No more melted ice or soggy sandwiches everything stays dry and consistently cold. It’s also surprisingly lightweight for what it offers, quiet when running and the lid staying open which makes loading and unloading easy. The app control is another standout feature. Whether the cooler is in the back seat or in the truck bed, I can adjust settings directly from my phone without having to access it physically. I had a small plug issue but customer service handled it quickly. That experience definitely added to my confidence in the brand. Adding the battery pack was worth it for extra flexibility. Overall very solid and I’d recommend it.

This is my 2nd portable refrigerator. My previous refrigerator weighed +50 lbs and it was the same capacity. The ICECO APL35 only weighs 32 lbs and it is much better refrigerator. It maintains the set temperature in both zones consistently. I like having ice cream on my trips and the freezer side keeps it frozen.

Perfect size and the option of dual zone capability. Used it on a long Off road trip recently and it works flawlessly. Cools down super fast and extremely quite.

I received my APL35 from the Indiegogo fundraiser. It's been on 3 overlanding trips so far and has proven to be quite the workhorse. The dual zones cool to the set temperatures very quickly and maintain them efficiently despite numerous openings and closings. When not on trips, my fridge doubles as a drink cooler at home.

Been running the apl 37 for 15 days straight 24 hrs a day..no trouble at all freezing and chill 😀😀

I really like everything about this fridge/freezer. APL35 is the perfect size for me. It also looks great in my van. Shipping was fast. Packaging was very good. I'm looking forward to using this for many years.

Only used once worked perfectly

We haven't had the opportunity to put it to a real-world test yet, but so far we like what we see. The freezer seems to be built like a little tank, but is light enough to be easily moved by one person. We are looking forward to putting it to the test.

This my 2nd cooler of this type my last one was an 80qt fridge/freezer. It last me 5 years but was to big. This cooler is Awesome it fits perfect in my hunting rig. I keeps temp and I like the way it locks. I will be purchasing another one for my work truck

Well this APL35 is sure an eye catcher to look at. It sure is pretty. Lots of style and feels well made. The capacity size and lightness to its overall weight certainly had my interest. Enough room to keep some meals, as well as leafy greens for salad, chilled water, and fresh fruit and yogurt if you have the mind to. The dual temperature zones are very nice to have, especially during the hot summer season …. it’s nice to know that you have choices available to you. All these things played a part in the reason why I made the purchase. But the two things that really sparked my interest overall others was about how many people spoke so highly about the compressor and how well it was made. How much of a quality product that was. All that praise as well as the 5 year warranty backing the workmanship really tipped my decision to go for the APL35. So far so good. I’m brand new still to it but I’m happy with the results so far. The easy to use app is my go to way if I need to make any adjustments.
Now, I even have plans to buy a cover for it soon. Can’t wait to see how that works out. I’ll let you know if I make any updates.

After having tested this fridge at home and on a tame 6 hr roadtrip, I finally got to take it on an offroad 5-day trip and it was basically on the whole time. Over rock ground and various angles, plugged into multiple power supplies, it performed solidly. It will lose temperature fast (even with the ICECO fridge cover) when not running. The latches are SHARP. Cut myself and warned others opening it to be careful.

My new APL35 opens doors for new and longer adventures!
Paired with my Jackery, the magnetic PB250 power bank, and a small solar panel has proven that I can keep my food/beverages cold indefinitely. So long ice cubes and floating ziplocks!
Just finished a trip to Lake Tahoe. This eye catching metallic wonder was drawing attention at the beach. It was kinda fun to offer my friends ice cream drumsticks!
I used my PB250 power bank magnetically attached to the cooler for a good 10+ hour beach day.
This cooler runs quiet, quite efficient, lightweight, and can be controlled with my cellphone. It even has an app in Apple CarPlay so I can monitor and control from the dash while driving.
I’ve reached out on two occasion with question to ICECO, and they seem to respond in 1-2 days. Overall quite happy and impressed.

This is a great refrigerator/freezer to complement my camper van refrigerator. Plugging in to AC to get it up to temp is a must but once it reaches set temps, it works great on DC power. I tested it for three days on DC with 800amh lithium batteries and found it to work well. The cover and included AC and DC cords make this an excellent buy. If it had an option for a basket or layers in the lager compartment, I would truly enjoy it more.

We considered many different dual-zone portable refrigerator/freezers. We could have gotten any one we wanted. For us, it finally boiled down to weight and value.

As people relatively new to the camping/overlanding world, we were unsure what to seek or expect from “an electric cooler.” After reading some kind of mixed reviews about the APL35 ultralight, we just couldn’t escape the weight savings compared to others. Plus, the ICECO was also very affordable.

We couldn’t wait to try it out once it arrived. We are thrilled! The freezer/fridge comes to temperature quickly enough, and seems to maintain its internal coolness pretty well, even while using it under summer’s latest Heat Dome, where outside temperatures soared to the low 100s in our desert landscape.

The only weirdness (I guess I’d call it) is the internal temperature seems to “shift” slightly when on the move. Variations are three to four degrees, depending on what compartment quadrant items reside in and the temperature shifts aren’t predictable. It seems to rely on the motion, vector and momentum. Nevertheless, we set the fridge at 36 degrees and the freezer at 0 and we never saw foods go above 40 or below 33 in the fridge compartment, and we never noticed any signs of melt or modification for items in the freezer. So we’re not worried about the weirdness.

It’s a handsome item that doesn’t seem particularly robust, but we’re going to use it until it dies, which hopefully won’t be for many years. It doesn’t gobble the precious watts from our moderate-capacity power station, either, so we don’t have dead-battery anxiety that might have come from some of the other contenders on our original consideration list.

I purchased the APL 35 and 2025 and have had the refrigerator for over a year. I traveled forseveral months in New Mexico desert through the winter camping and hiking using it out of the back of my vehicle. I’m currently in Maine on a sailboat and I’m using it now. It’s working with solar panels to keep it charged it’s a fantastic unit. It’s changed my way of thinking about coolers and ice which cost me a lot of money and time and then became a big mess. This is very convenient. I would suggest anyone that is looking for a refrigerator consider an IceCo product. I’m writing this review to thank the Customer Service department for their Quick response and excellent service for a minor issue I had with my refrigerator. The issue was corrected immediately. Response was quick and I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided me and their concern that I was fully satisfied.

Made the purchase to supplement the small frig in the camper van.
Used it over July 4th weekend, it worked perfect.

I have ordered two insulated covers, and at present have only received one.

Nice looking cooler but it keeps shutting off on me. I also have the ICECO battery plugged into it which shows me 50% plus charge.
