Powerful, versatile. I use them as backups for if my big battery gets drained and I can't recharge it. I think these are an excellent value for what you get.
Amazing how fast the cooler gets cold! I would recommend getting the battery pack if you can't plug it in during transit. We traveled three hours and ice cream is difficult to keep completely frozen. This should do the trick.
Support was great in helping identify the issue and supplying the correct part to fix my noise problem. Ordered part, picked up and replaced it fairly easily. Working great
What can I say. After five years of constant use my fridge is still going strong. Had a small issue with the latch but ice o customer service is on top of it and replaced it without question and quickly to boot. Would but it again for sure!!!!!!

I'm using the Iceco fridge in my Ford Transit van, powered by my ecoflow power station. It will run for a couple of days , at which point I can recharge the Ecoflow using my alternator connection in an hour, providing another couple of days operating time. I like the double access lid and how quiet it is. I'm Using it for travel but at home , I can do food shopping and not have to go straight home. Unload at my convenience.
We do a lot of car travel. This fridge works great for keeping things cold that get yucky in the old ice/melted ice coolers. Like items like cheese, cardboard containers, open cold cut packages, butter, etc. Plus really nice to have the freezer section for ice cream and such - can't do that with the ice cooler. (we still use an ice cooler for our canned drinks) Had it over a year now. And nice to be able to convert from two sections into one section depending on our needs. Runs great, quiet.
I already own 2 of the adjustable and 2 of the high chairs. All of them are high quality builds, very comfortable and can be folded to a small pack size in relation to the actual dimensions of the chair. I ordered another chair a couple of weeks ago … unfortunately it was out of stock in the camel color. The ICECO team contacted me quickly and offered the grey color as a substitute + a small bonus item. Since all of my chairs are in camel, I had to decline the offer … but I was very pleased with their service which shows that they truly care about the satisfaction of their customers.
I bought this fridge in 2022 and used it in a Transit campervan I built with an Ecoflow Delta Pro power system. The fridge worked flawlessly for this whole time, but at the end of the last trip I made last summer, it started showing E1 errors and then E3 an E5.
It had done this occasionally when i would first plug it in for a new trip, but it usually resolved itself after a restart. So I did not worry too much about it.
When I drove to Florida for a 10 days vacation this winter, I expected the fridge to work as it always did. Well, it did not really work out that way. I contacted ICECO Customer Support, and after a couple of rounds of back and forth, they agreed to replace the fridge. There were another few communications so we all understood exactly what fridge I would get and so on, but once we agreed, it took only a few days to get the replacement in hand and for me to return mine.
I think that my fridge was probably fine all along, and that most of the issues that those types of fridge run into can be traced back to the input power. My electric system was plenty big for feeding the fridge. But to make sure the voltage would not drop too low, I had added a boost converter inline, just before the fridge. That guaranteed the fridge would see 12.6 volts. However, I think the converter may not have supplied enough amps.
ICECO has a step up converter that outputs 13.8 volts and can deliver 110 watts for $39. I think that this should almost always be included with the fridge. Just throw it in and add $30 to the price of the fridge. I think that would save ICECO and its customers a lot of grief.
All in all, I am still very happy with my fridge. I have run the replacement for the last week non-stop and it is performing flawlessly.
If a good friend asked me if I would recommend an ICECO fridge, I would say absolutely. I am very glad that is the brand I tried out first and it is the brand I will stay with.
Received this after searching for a replacement freezer for my boat. After testing it immediately, it performed flawlessly out of the box. Now i need to test it in real world conditions where it gets warmer than normal when the AC isn't on. Wondering how much temperature fluctuation will occur.
APL 55 Dual Zone came well packaged and all the parts plus extra spares in good condition. This fridge / freezer was purchased to ride in the rear seat of the crew cab pick up truck for extended periods. I have tested the fridge and freezer by running off the trucks inverter 110AC which will supply up to 400 watts no issue. I tested the 12v DC plug in and this worked well. I also made a third test running the 12v DC side from a 100ah lithium battery. From ambient temp about 60 degrees on both 110V AC and 12v DC settings with the freezer set to 0 and fridge set to 33 it cooled down to temp in less 30 mins empty, and I verified the temp with an inside refrigerator thermometer. I also order the insulated cover, it fits great, and has extra pockets for cords and inside divider. When running it was whisper quiet in the cab of the truck. Impressed so far will see how it holds up.
Loving it, keeps everything cold and pulls low watts, very helpful for being on the road! The battery charges fast.
I got to use my ICECO APL35 fridge/freezer for the first time at Jeep Beach last week. It performed beautifully. I set the larger compartment to 37 degrees for my fridge and the smaller compartment to 0 degrees for my freezer. Paired with my 1000 amp hour battery, the combo worked great.
My only nitpick is that the cans put little indentations on the bottom of the fridge compartment. In the future, I'll put a small hand towel on the bottom to cushion it a bit. I just wasn't thinking about it being all aluminum. And I didn't have the fridge in my Jeep when I was doing the obstacle course. It was just from normal driving around.
