I purchased the VL60 and love it. It takes approximately 30 minutes from an ambient 70 degrees to the set 37 fridge, and approx 45 minutes to 07 degrees freezer settings. Once it arrived at the operating temps, the unite requires very little power to maintain. I will need to see how this changes when the AZ heat gets up to 100 degrees. The unit is mounted in my rear seat area. I removed the pass rear seat and fab’d a flat panel steel base to secure it to. This design allows me enough headroom to fully open the lids while keeping the unit free of dust and outside elements. I’ll update should there be any negative aspects.
