Did some research on Grok about the freezer for a 12 day elk hunt. It gave me the lowdown on the good brands and Iceco was the top. Bought the cooler and ran it off my Jackery 2000 with 2 100w solar panels. The cooler drew 59w at its max and 6w at its lowest. Everything worked great and I was super stoked on the product.

Only had it for a couple weeks but performing flawlessly. This is my second ICECO fridge. Have been running the APL55 for 4 years now. Needed a bigger one. So far very happy with it. Lives in the bed of my truck and runs 24-7/365

Received this fridge just in time for our road trip to California from Colorado. Has been an absolute amazing addition to our family’s adventure and extremely glad to have a fridge/freezer with such a low energy consumption.

This is my 5th ICECO unit. My 1st is a VL45 Pro (purchased in Aug. 2021). The 2nd is a JP30 (purchased in Nov. 2021). The 3rd is a JP40 (purchased in Dec. 2022). The 4th is another JP30 along with this 5th one VL75 Pro (purchased both in Dec. 2024). All are excellent units. All are still currently 100% operational. 2 are permanent installations in my Class B RV (VL45 Pro & JP40). 2 are permanently used in my home (VL75 Pro & JP30). And 1 is permanently in our minivan or car depending on which we are using for out of town drives (JP30). My biggest reason for purchasing all my ICECO units is the units having SECOP compressors. A 5-yr. compressor warranty at these pricepoints definitely make them a top choice to purchase. But that alone was not enough - I did a good amount of research time to read customer reviews to make sure reliability was not compromised for lower price. I have also purchased numerous accessories for all of them - mostly the exterior insulated covers and additional DC cords to have permanently inside each of our family member's vehicles making it easy to move them around. I had 1 issue in 1 of the orders due to shipper's damage (not an ICECO fault). Contacting Customer Support was easy and got the problem resolved to my satisfaction. The fact that my oldest one (almost 5 yrs. old) is still working without any degradation in performance is well enough reason for me to keep buying them as our needs arise. I did a temperature check on my VL45 Pro how cold the unit would get in freezer mode. Using a Fluke 62 Max IR Thermometer with the lid open, I consistently read below -10deg.F in every corner of the unit. I use SensorPush sensors in all my units consistently get readings of -4degF or lower when in freezer mode, EVEN on the non-Pro models like my JP40. Attached is a screenshot from one of my SensorPush sensors inside my JP40 during a camping trip in my RV. It recorded a low of -13.3degF during the compressor cycle. The average was -3.8degF for the entire week.

This is an upgrade from the JP 53 I have had for a few years now, totally satisfied. I originally bought it in 2020 and after nearly 2 years of heavy use the thermostat went bad and Iceco replaced the entire unit no questions asked. So when looking to upgrade for my off-grid cabin I didn't even shop around.

This VL75ProD just got done with 10 days off grid. It started packed with raw dairy, eggs, 20 lbs of ground buffalo and much more. I had one side on 25 and the other on 35 and everything stayed chilly. That compressor is no joke. Stuff froze solid in the freezer.

I have one dedicated 750 Wh battery with a 200W solar panel but I can go almost 2 days without sun with that setup. With sun it's indefinite. Beyond satisfied. Total paradigm changer as I only had to go to town once. Absolutely get this if you are considering it.

Big purchase for me, but this machine has been functioning perfectly. I’m not full time in my van but have been using this fridge/freezer full time as my partner and I transition between homes and go camping so we’ve been using this in my van and in our homes so we’ve don’t have to keep transferring food around and it’s been a real load off of the moving process. Love it. Love the color!

i ordered the VL75Pro D. This fridge is awesome. Lots of room on both sides. It cools down quickly and is energy efficient. Perfect size to fit my full-size truck and managed well with my Anker power station. Love this product.

I have the APL20 and I love it. I have had it for 3 years and it has worked great. I had to change out the power cord and ICECO was very helpful in this process. I would recommend their products and would buy another.

I’ve only had a chance to use it once, but I like the setup better than my previous (different brand) unit that somehow only lasted a year and one month before it stopped working. Getting ready to head out for some vacation time, I’m expecting it will work well. I like the dual direction lids. Very convenient!

I bought my VL75 over a year ago for use in my 12ft utility trailer camper conversion. Powered off the solar array, I never bother turning it off, with one side set as a deep freeze, and the other a refrigerator it just keeps plugging along. I would buy another in a heart beat.

I had no issues with this product, I love the fridge and the freezer combo it's amazing. The only thing I wish is that, the app controls would work as you're away from the system. I also wish I could get alerts so that I would know if the freezer was shut off by mistake or something went wrong. Otherwise than that it's wonderful.

Took it on our 5-day road trip and it worked great! Saved so much money on food and ice. Kept everything at the perfect temp. We are very glad we purchased this "cooler"!

This chest does exactly what it says. Stays cold for days and the power consumption is so good. Its also so quiet I dont even know its running.

Finally got the refrigerator going! A few issues with the App but Iceco has been persistent about updating. Works like a charm. I am impressed with how energy efficient the Fridge/Freezer is. I have the VL 75 Pro. I ran it for 3 days on two 100Ah batteries and after 3 days it was still 28 % left on batteries. This pre solar panel hookup. I delayed in actually testing it out because I need to have work done on camper, hopefully, next month.

Haven’t used the new dual-zone VL75proD yet but the JP40 I’ve been using continuously for six years still works perfectly other than a burned out interior light. Very pleased

The ICECO 75Pro has been indispensable on my travels. I’ve tested it in cold -temps in the mountains to +100degree summers. The compressor runs surprisingly quiet and draws around 45–50 watts, depending on the outside temps - running longer and more frequent in the heat compared to the cold. I used the supplying 12v cig lighter connection for my power. This system lasted me perfect for week-long camp trips.
What really sets this cooler apart are the dual lid openings—super convenient when accessing either compartment. The freezer works! Ice cubes in the desert. Maintenance has been a breeze, I’ve cleaned it a handful of times. The drain spout and metal interior make it easy to wash and rinse out.
The digital control panel is simple and easy to operate. You can adjust or completely turn off a compartment in desired.
Rugged, efficient, and thoughtfully designed. If you can spare the wattage you won’t be disappointed.

The cooler seems to work great. Haven't tried the 12v yet, or used the freezer side of it. I keep it in the bay of my RV and I am on shore power most of the time. I love the open from either side top. It is so nice not having to buy ice every two days.

Kept the cold stuff cold and the freezer kept the ice cream and a bag of ice frozen.
