Van Life or RV Life? - www.icecofreezer.com

If you're interested in living life on the road but you are in between a Van or an RV, here are some things you should consider that may help make your decision. It may look similar in terms of having a living space and living on the road, however, they can vary in many different ways that may help you make your decision on which one is best for you.

Pros for Van Life

  • Parking

With a Van, you can fit into any space for a standard vehicle so finding parking will be a lot easier. This means you can go anywhere such as restaurants, grocery stores, public areas, and a lot more without having to worry about height and size restrictions. This also means parking fees will be less than an RV.

  • Limited Space

With less space, that means you will have less storage space. You will have to make sure each space is utilized and that may mean you will have to minimize. You will most likely have to live the Marie Kondo way. Minimalism will be a part of your new lifestyle.

  • Easier to Drive

Driving a van will be a lot easier than driving a big RV. You won't have to worry about how you're going to make those wide turns or backing up. It will be a lot less stressful since it will be very similar to driving a car.

  • Faster to Cool/Heat

During the winter or summer, it will be a lot faster to warm up and cool your van since it's a smaller space.

  • Better Mileage

If you're looking for something with a smaller budget, a van will give you better mileage.

Pros for RV Life

  • More Space

An RV is a lot bigger than a Van so that automatically means more space. The extra square footage in the RV will have many benefits. You won't feel cramped up especially if there is another person living life on the road with you. You will be living a lot more comfortably.

  • Amenities

Along with the extra space in the RV, that means you can utilize the extra space to install a bathroom, shower, laundry machine, or even a kitchen. This will make living life on the road much more convenient and comfortable. You won't have to worry about finding public places to shower or do your laundry. You will be able to do it in the comfort of your own RV.

  • Storage Space

Extra space in the RV means you will have a lot more storage space. You won't have to worry about minimizing your personal belongings.

  • Family/ Friends Friendly

With an RV you can have the comfort of a home on the road. You can have more company along your adventures with more people living comfortably in an RV. You won't be living in a cramped space. You will also have more sleeping space .

  • Pet Space
Since you have more living space in an RV that means you can add a furry friend along with your adventures comfortably. They make the best companion and there will be many memories made together. They will be living their best life alongside you on your outdoor adventures .
