I purchased my cooler the end of July 2026,I’m a otr trucker and like bringing home cooked food and beverages with,I purchased it for two reason’s,the size and warranty of the compressor,it usually runs 6 days straight,plugged into a 3000w power inverter,it keeps my food,water and milk at the right temp and fruit stays nice and chilled,my only complaint is,the baskets,thought it came with two baskets that sat side by side,and not a shorter basket and one that goes the whole length of the inside,I have no use for that one,other than that,Great Product ! Even like the color and a great place to put my coffee,while I’m cruising down the highway

tested it for a couple of day, all went well. The big test will be coming at the end of August, we will be doing 2 week on some Jeep trail, Starting with the Rimrocker trail and so on ..See ya on the trails .... John

Just returned from month long roadtrip through Maine and NB Canada. Purchased the ICECO VL45 fridge for the trip. Tired of the ice issues encountered when camping for days at time.

The unit performed better than anticipated. Plenty of room for the items we had. Held temperature great when not plugged in. Great purchase!! Loved it.

Glad we purchased this fridge. Fit great in our 4RUNNER and charging was a breeze. Well built and solid product. Here’s to many more roadtrips with ICECO!!

This has changed my camping experiences 10 fold. No more wet food from melted ice when camping for more than a day im the summer. Though I do recommend using some clear sealant on the inside to prevent condensation from getting behind the inner panels, I'd say its worth every dollar spent. It stays hooked to my bluetti elite 300, always have cold drinks in my rig and the Mrs loves that she can put groceries or veggies from the farmers market right in the cooler to stay cool while we go do other things before heading home. Definitely would purchase again.

This has been one of the best investments to date. I go out of town every other week and used to take a cooler with ice. This beats that. I am going on a road trip across the country in October and cant wait to not have to stop for ice. It cools to 32°F in an hour or less. The hottest I've tried this to date is around 85°F and it was cold withing an hour. I'd recommend this to anyone especially if you're in Michigan and frequently travel up north!

Cooled down from 70 to 34 in 45 minutes on max running 120v. Then i put it min and ran 12v with a little jackery 240. Pulls 35 watts seems use about 2.5 % an hour room temperature at 72 vl45 set on 34. Only thing that I didn't like so far was lid had gap in back closed tighter on front so I loosened hinges and sat on it while I tightened them back now lid is level and seems like seals better. Mine will be on some bad roads goin to cabin so i played with it running while tilted 40 degrees 40 is definitely max the compressor makes thumping sound at 40 degree angle . Seems to be very solid build and efficiency is amazing so far after few trips to cabin 2 hours of very bad roads and trails i will update review.

As far as the refrigerator goes, I love it!!! However, I have been having issues with customer service. I will explain my situation: when I ordered my VL45 in April, 2021, it arrived without the AC power cord. I called Iceco multiple times, but no one answered. I then started communicating with them via text. I explained my situation, and asked them where I could buy the power cord. To my delight, they offered to send me the power cord "free of charge", which would be great, IF THEY WOULD ACTUALLY SEND IT, or at least respond to my texts. If I DO, finally, receive the power cord, I will change my review to 5 stars. My main concern is, if I am having this much trouble getting a power cord, what kind of service can I expect of I have an actual problem with the fridge? I bought from Iceco because of all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, I have not received the level of customer service that I have heard other customers rave about.

Delivered quickly but very poorly handled by shipper. Sturdy and well built. Cooled down to freezing quickly. I really like the light inside. Only downside is that the lack of a tight sealing lid allows moisture and ice to build up especially around the upper area of the freezer.

Overall super happy with my fridge. I am in the fourth year of ownership a use of a VL45. Recently an issue came up with a capacitor on the processing board, I received prompt service and was able to resolve the issue through customer service.. Thank you Caitlin! I know that when I purchase another fridge it will be an ICECO. The customer service team really stepped up to fix my issue and proved to me that they stand behind the product

I ran a 12 volt line for the iceco in my 4runner. The line was bigger than the one already there.2 weeks as a 38 degree fridge,it never hicupped.

Coming from a higher priced cooler to ICECO was somewhat of a surprise in the quality of the ICECO. This thing will cool unbelievably well here in Texas , it’s been 103+ every day for weeks with lows in the mid 80’s in early morning, still 100 at 9pm. Running it on minimum and using about 33-37 watts which is less power than a CFX3 that is smaller. I first tried it out with a warm 30pk of beer on a 101 degree day on high, it never broke a sweat and a pulled the temp down to 30 from 75 in about 6 hours fighting a 101 degree day in the back of a parked suv. I’m running it off of an Anker Solix c2000 and it will run for 7 days with no charging in this heat. It’s using less power than my smaller CFX3 did in the same heat and conditions. I haven’t tried a side by side with my CFX3 or cfx5 but without a doubt in my mind it is better at cooling and using the same power. It is heavy so if you’re going to be carrying/transferrjng it might be consideration for something different, but for all out cooling power it is awesome.

I love this Iceco Fridge / Freezer. Low power draw, low battery protection. Relatively light weight and still robust. 11/10 recommend.

This could be the perfect fridge for Van camping. I got it because it was efficient, well insulated, reliable, quiet, and Built Tough and I really like the styling. The capacity seemed a little smaller than what I was expecting but when you consider no ice and normal accessibility to grocery stores it is plenty for short trips.

What can I say. Everything seems to be working great. It does the job, and I would buy another one.If I needed it. I would not buy another brand I would only stick with ICECO brand.
The customer service is super. Before I even had a problem with the unit and I had questions on the registration , they helped me.

Mind you, I was upset and give a bad verbal Questioning on their registration on how to fill it out. They went over and beyond helping me feel that out explaining every single detail that I threw a fit with , like a little baby and boy did that make me feel bad and they answered everything just super correctly , and I was so happy.
Thank God, these are very good people.God fearing loving people in my opinion...

I got this VL45 as part of my "emergency preparation" goals. I went with ICECO because their compressor was built for constant use - not just occasional use. Its top quality and design. VERY efficient. I decided to set it up, as an addition to my regular fridge/freezer instead of keeping it stored away for emergencies. It's been filling a need my regular refrigerator does not. I can set it to 32 and keep beverages (and watermelon) at just above a freezing temp. It's large enough to be practical for daily use. I also have the peace of mind, that if my power goes out for an extended time, I have enough space to save what I cannot consume from the regular refrigerator. If I wanted just a home-based system, I would have gone with the dual zone model. The CL45 is just the right size/ weight/ price that makes it manageable as a "portable" unit. The unit had minor damage when it arrived (no fault of the quality of boxing). Carrier must have missed the "FRAGILE" + "KEEP THIS END UP" posted on every side. One of the hinges had taking the damage. I sent ICECO a notice that was quickly answered and they sent out replacements within about a week. From other long-term reviews I've read, I expect this unit to run for the next 5+ years or more since it is not bouncing around in a vehicle. I'm very glad I got this unit and from this company. A great value!

Have only used it on short trips so far. Incredible how quick it chills!

I use a Bluetti elite 200 power station and the fridge draws about 50 amps when running. Used it on camping trip in my van after 5 days I still had 7 percent battery left and fridge was still cold. I have it set at 39 degrees f. With my portable 350 w solar panel it will definitely replenish all energy fridge uses in a few hours. The iceco Vl metal green fridge is well made and Chat gpt recommended it to me because it has the secop compressor. Handles and hinges and latches are very well made and aren’t riveted on they look replaceable. I will be getting the cover eventually but I tried it without it first and it still is very efficient. I sleep next to it in the van and it’s quiet. The few times it runs I hear it but it makes me smile knowing I have a quality product keeping my milk cold and all my eggs and other food so breakfast will be wonderful looking at the sun rise. Then I go right back to sleep. Thank you Iceco for making a quality product I can trust. I don’t ever leave reviews and I got nothing from Iceco to leave this review. It’s just a great investment. If you wait for a sale day it’s a great price too.

If you camp regularly or travel by car and enjoy taking a cooler, this is a good investment. Makes packing and organizing food easier with the two racks. No icy mess to pick through when looking for food in the fridge. Perfect size for a family of 3 for a 2-3 day trip.

I purchased this unit directly from Iceco, but it went on sale 20 days later. They told me that they only have a price adjustment within 14 days and it has to be 7 days before the start of another sale. I am highly disappointed that I could have bought this unit from another vendor and had better customer service than I did with Iceco directly.
