63.4QT VL60 Dual Zone Metal Fridge Freezer with Cover | ICECO

I bought the VL60 for a 2-month road trip around the US (and future road trips). Wow! What a game changer! It was wonderful to have a refrigerator on my trip with me. It cut down on the trips that I made to the grocery store, saved me money, and I didn't have to deal with ice. It's great to not have to deal with ice! The thing is huge for 1 person, and I only used half of it (the smaller half) as a refrigerator. I turned the other half off and used it as a pantry The refrigerated side did a great job of keeping my food cold. One concern I had about it before buying it was how noisy it would be, because I planned on having it in my Ford Expedition while sleeping in the car at the same time. I has happy to discover that it barely makes any noise at all. I had a 1200kwh battery with me, and the fridge would drain the batter about a 1/4 of the way each night, but I could easily recharge the battery the next day while driving or with solar panels. I love my VL60 and I have no regrets about buying it!

Filled with frozen meat before trip. Plugged in & display read 34*, however it never got any lower than 45* inside. Lost over $250 worth meat! An ice chest would have done a better job. Wasted $850 for a digital box…piece of crap. What a scam!

I have the VL60GDN and I just wanted to let y'all know I love this thing. I am a disabled vet and I require nightly transfusions and this is what I store all my medications in. It has pretty much ran nonstop for the last almost 6 years. It has been a real lifesaver because without it I wouldn't be able to do any traveling to see family or go on family vacations because I wouldn't have anywhere to reliably keep my meds refrigerated. We just plug that it into the car and we're good for the trip and plug it back into the wall when we get there. You guys rock keep up the amazing work and thank you for a quality product.

Works great as both a fridge and a freezer. Maintains temp within a few degrees. Very big and heavy. I guess we have the newer basket design which we like, there are two shallow baskets on each side stacked on top of each other, instead of one deep one. This makes it easy to load up, especially if it’s in a vehicle with a low ceiling. We put the empty cooler in our 4Runner , and then load the baskets of food into it. The included soft cover is a nice touch.

I have not used it yet. I am still building my rig.
