The cooler itself is fantastic! Five stars all day… though, a little shorter long ways and a little taller would make it absolutely perfect.
With the AC power bank plugged into a inverter inside the vehicle with windows up, no clouds, and no window tint set on medium protection, max power at -4 degrees it stays around 20 degrees inside the chest all day long. Can’t beat that… when you grab a bottle of water you have to chug it before the ice forms when you open it. It’s a race.
The power bank leaves much to be desired. So it drops the score down in my opinion. It does work. It is convenient. However, it doesn’t power the fridge for very long. Even on eco mode set in the low to mid 30’s with the battery protection on medium. Whether leaving the thing in the car, setting it outside in the shade, or inside the house in the A/C, it may last 5-6 hours. If it’s set to max at anything less than 35 degrees, we’re talking 2.5hours max… plus… the magnet is awful, and it can’t be stuck to the side of the cooler.
