Appears it will help keep the freezer cold but I feel they should have designed it to duel purpose as a cover/protective case. It’s thin and will help the maintain temp, but it should have been made thicker to also protect from scratches, dents, etc. Also hope that the material will last, feels kind of cheap so we’ll see how well the zippers function and material holds up from use.

This unit is top notch. The cover is a must have in my opinion . It makes a huge difference. It is well made and the storage pockets are a big bonus. I highly recommend recommended.
