Memorial Day is coming up on May 30 as we honor the US military who have passed away while serving our country. The USS Arizona is the historic memorial of over a thousand sailors and marines that were killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor back in Dec. 7,1941. The memorial itself is only accessible through boat and you can learn about its history and get a glimpse from the past through their narrated tours.
2. Arlington National Cemetery – Arlington, VA
The Arlington National Cemetery is a national military cemetery established during the civil war consisting of 639 acres of hallowed ground for those who served our nation. This cemetery also includes President John F Kennedy's grave site.

The USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park is the most recognizable symbol of the State of Alabama. It is Veterans Memorial that honor sthe Alabamians who participated so in armed conflicts.You will explore the battleship that has begun it mission since World War 2.
4. Veterans Day Parade – New York, NY
The Veteran's Day Parade is largest annual event for the veterans. The United States Air Force Honor Guard including veteran groups marches through New York as the US nation cheers and waves their flags as a day to raise awareness and salute the veterans who died protecting our country.
5. Gettysburg Battlefield – Gettysburg, PA
At the Gettysburg National Military Park, you can visit and walk where the soldiers fought at iconic places such asa Culp's Hill, The Peach Orchard, Wheatfield, Devil's Den, Little Round Top, and Cemetery Ridge..Tour guides and self guided tours are available and you want to make sure to visit the soldier's national cemetery to pay your respects.
Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor the sacrifices to build our nation and it is a time to celebrate the country that has been built.
