12V Male Cigarette Lighter Plug, DC Cable

Our Iceco refrigerator/freezer is an amazing addition to our cruising sailboat! We bought the second DC cable because we cut the original one to hardwire it to our 12-volt fuse panel. When we're docked and have 110-volt shore power, we use the second DC cable to plug into the AC system. These are GREAT products and I highly recommend them.

Although the cigarette plug did not completely disengage from the socket it did become loose when sliding the fridge tray in and out. I replaced the cigarette plug end with an Anderson plug and solved the problem. Would recommend shipping the fridge with an optional Anderson plug cord in the future.

That works great, do you have a plug that goes into the cooler and to a out?

Like many others I've read my DC plug fits very loosely in my female adapter. I've had to figure out the exact angle and position and then secure the cables so when driving it doesn't unplug from my battery bank which runs off solar. I'm living in my van since February and it's been running smoothly other than a dealing with the cigarette plug. I bought my fridge/freezer fall 2021. And the plug looks like the same one I got. I hope they could fix that issue or send it with the correctly fitted female to avoid this annoying issue.
