JP42 iCooler perfectly combines the advantages of traditional coolers and powered fridge. No worry about the melted ice, get rid of the shackles of bulky home refrigerators! iCooler is not only a Cooler, but also a freezer!
Cooler is efficent, works well from cooling to freezing
I just have it for a short period of time. So far it’s been great it keeps my stuff (beer & alcohol) to my preferred temperature. And tested the freezing feature and yes. It freezes too lol let’s give it time and see how everything hold up. Overall very happy for my needs.
used from June thru the end of Sept in my truck camper during an extended cross-country road trip. The trip was solo and this unit provided more than enough storage for me. A Jackery 1000 powered the unit. The jackery was usually charged via a single 100w solar panel on the roof. On the occasions when shade allowed the power supply to need more than solar, I charged the Jackery via the truck battery.
here is my gripe: From the time the JP42 arrival the light indicating whether the fridge was in max or eco mode failed to work. Because it was difficult to see the side panel, the fact that I couldn't see the light occasionally required removal of the straps preventing the fridge from sliding around in the camper and move it sideways. Annoying. I tried several times to get help from customer service. The first call, I was told that I'd be contacted. I never was. I tried several other methods of reach customer service, but was never able to get anyone to contact me. My departure date arrived and I simply gave up and left. Still bugs me that I paid full price for a defective unit.
Have had it for a few weeks and it keeps it pretty cold.
This is replacing my YETI for the summer - love the settings and temp range, color, design. Def a bit heavy but that's to be expected. Still need to test how well the cooler walls hold up to maintain temps - initial use was underwhelmed, but need more use to confirm.

Hi there, Does the 3in1 have the Danfoss compressor? I'm debating on the 3in1 vs the JP50 and not sure which compressor will be quieter and longer lasting. Thanks!

Are these refrigerators able to be used as a 2nd home refrigerator (back up refrigerator)? I'm just wondering if these are made to run 24/7 just like a regular home refrigerator or freezer, or are they only meant to run for a weekend travel or small trips, then keep off while not in use. I like the portability if I need that option but I'd like to use it also to store frozen meat at home.
sure, JP42 is a electric cooler, you can plug it into 110~120V via ac adpater to use it as a freezer or fridge.
