Bought this to use when we go on vacations. Started out with it as a freezer and hauled it in the back of my truck for a 5 1/2 hr drive in 98 degree weather. Worked flawlessly! When we arrived at the Beach I then switched it over to fridge temp and plugged it into the outlet and used it all week as a secondary drink cooler. I highly recommend this cooler!
Purchased the vl45 and cover. everything arrived promptly and undamaged. I'm very impressed with just how little power the fridge uses., while maintaining the temp within a few degrees.. I can run it for 8 hours off the truck battery without issue without starting the vehicle. My only complaint is the cover is used for the vl45 and vl60 single zone so it fits a little loose on the vl45. it has zippers that compress the fabric in order to fit the vl45 . Overall I give the fridge 5 stars and the cover 4 stars.
